Hotel was nice

Just need AC but otherwise very nice room.

The lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating, she upgraded the room at no extra cost. The motel itself isn’t that great, it’s a little dingy and also might have a flea problem.

The office lady was super sweet and went the extra mile for us arriving very late in the evening. We will stay here every time we come to beautiful Newport ❤️🙏

The fridge had been turned off and it had a mystery liquid in the freezer that smelt like a dead animal.

Room was still being cleaned at 3pm when we checked in. Front desk checked us again I had to remind them I needed to pay. Gave me the key went to our room and someone was still making the bed

It was an older property that hasn’t been updated in a long time. It was quite run down and we found a cockroach in our room. There was a hole in the ceiling covered by a light plate. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Older motel, but clean. Having Roku tv was nice. Pretty basic - bring your own soap, because there was no soap or shampoo. No window screen on the 2nd floor room, so not recommended for kids.

It what I expected but it was clean and neat and comfortable bed. Only problem. No electric outlet in bathroom and o ly 3 in the unit.

As we approach the hotel, we noticed a woman out front in her short robe, letting her dogs defecate on the front lawn. Pulling into the driveway, we noticed the front lobby area under construction and visibly being lived in by a family with several dogs. There were numerous units with trash piled outside the doors. Most of the street facing units were being occupied by people who live there full-time, as they had their personal effects outside of the rooms. There were people sleeping in chairs in the parking lot of the hotel. The front office staff quite a while to come and meet us at the front desk. When she did come to the front desk, she never asked for any confirmation of identity leaving us to wonder if anybody’s identity is checked at this motel.

Front desk staff (pretty sure they were the owners) were super warm and friendly. Easy check in and out. Stayed in room 45. Very clean room. Bed was surprisingly comfy. Comfortable room overall. Good size. The ceiling fan was an added bonus. If you are someone sensitive to road noise, you may be bothered here since it is right on the main drag. I found it perfectly fine myself. Good location with easy access to tons of services. Ocean view from the room. Obscured but there. Great sea breeze coming up through the window. Fridge and microwave. Will definitely stay again, no hesitation.

Our stay at the Newport Bay Motel was pleasant, and Maria was a good host. We were fortunate to have one of the better rooms, larger, quieter, with a recently remodeled bathroom. The motel was a bit rundown, and has definitely seen better days. It's not on the Bay as you might think. It's on the highway. We were fortunate to be in a room away from the front, and all the traffic noise. The price was reasonable, and the amenities were minimal. You could do worse.

It was nice little room. I liked how we could open the window, and get the breeze of the Ocean. I liked that is was dog friendly

The location was great. Walking distance to beach and downtown. Restaurants nearby. We did find a couple of cockroaches in the sink and hair everywhere. Beds were comfortable but no a/c, just a fan.

Our stay was ok, everything was clean with the exception of the windows. Very noisy, but it was the 4th of July.

Maria welcomed us and all went seamlessly.

Fantastic two bedroom suite with ocean view. Very reasonable. Walked to the ocean in the morning. Two smart TV’s in the room. We left the windows open all night. Just excellent

Everything went well, although the property is aging

Room was somewhat clean. No phone in room. No electrical outlet in bathroom. You can see the hall way from room when door is closed. Can hear lots of noise thru thin walls. No one is ever in the office. Tried calling for an hour no answer no service. Felt unsafe at night. Loud music at night.
