Lovely bedrooms… great bedding, lots of room. Very comfortable. Good pool with few users. Beautiful gardens. Lots of comfortable common areas to sit and read , socialise, work from. Flexible on check out times Plenty of breakfast choice .. if you like cooked breakfast. I’d skip evening meals and eat at one of the cheaper and better places. Don’t choose the pasta if you eat in.

The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. It was -concerning to me though that rooms are not child safe. Our 2-year could easily open the locked front door, and the balcony door did not lock well. Other than that, are wonderful hotel. The spa is excellent and reasonably priced; but the restaurant is over-priced for the standard of meals.

We had a wonderful stay. The beds and pillows are so comfortable. The rooms are beautifully furnished. The pool is clean and lovely; as well as the gardens. The food was average (CJ's standard), yet very very expensive. The spa was awesome!! Agness gives a great facial and massage. I will definitely stay here again, though will likely eat out in the evenings.

I arrived in the middle of the night and the fire alarm in my room had an expired battery that beeped every few seconds. This should have been noted and changed. The menu at the restaurant is extremely limited. No real vegetarian options (no main course). No vegan options. Internet is terrible and doesn't work most of the time. The second room I was given could not be locked. The balcony door was missing a key and no one could find it. I had to request to be moved. They have music and its loud and as a guest you have no recourse but to listen to it because they put loud speakers at full blast. The transport to the airport was in a car that was severely damaged. The smell was horrific, the trip 20 minutes longer than expected because the car had no power (carburator problems). I was severely concerned we would not make it at all, so the smell was head ache inducing and stressful. All in all NOT the level expected for this kind of hotel.

When I arrived at tge hotel, i was told the room i had booked and paid for in January was not available and i had to accept another cheaper room. The following day I spoke to the manager, Moses who promptly gave me an upgraded room. Very happy with this outcome!!! Apart from this one issue, the hotel, grounds and staff are great. Reception desk very helpful. I will happily stay there again. Really nice hotel.

With limited rooms, this makes for a quiet retreat. The rooms are very comfortable and well taken care of. At night a staff member even comes to get the room ready for the night - puts the mosquito net down, fluffs the pillows, turns down the bed. The fresh fruit in the room was an added bonus. Such a comfortable, warm and welcoming spot.

Charming colonial butique hotel, completed with old world feel and problems with hot water. Well Suites for romatic stats, but for Business trips I lacked a few shops nearby.

The hotel is slipping a bit in terms of the attention to detail and design/style. It is still a very good property, but it used to be one of my favorite hotels in the world.

Quiet retreat in the middle of Kampala. Comfortable rooms and overly landscaping. Food, I'd give it a B. Service, A plus.

Small but cozy and greeny hotel, not like the biggest chain hotels in Kampala. I complained not having bathtub in the room but they didn't have the room at that time. At dinner time, the manager came and offered me to move to the room with a bathtub. Thank you for the quick response and kindness. I will be back.
