good location/accommodation for a short stay.

We stayed for 3 nights in an apartment on the 2nd floor. The apartment was big enough for us with one bedroom and a separate living room. The interior design of the apartment could be improved but otherwise it was good. WiFi connection inside the apartment was stable and quite fast. There wasn’t any kitchenette inside the apartment, just a kettle and small minibar. Breakfast was offered free of charge every morning and we could choose from six options. It was a combination of eggs and cold cuts plus some pancakes. We only ate fruit, vegetable salad with some bread and jam. But if you’re vegan and expect something more, you’ll need to eat breakfast elsewhere. The woman serving breakfast was very hospitable and welcoming to us and other guests. A major problem is, however, noise inside the property. We could very easily hear other guests taking shower, talking, walking around, etc. It felt as if the guests were inside our apartment. That was just horrible. So, because of the noise we would not stay there again. Apart from that, the pension was fine.

Receptionist didn't seem friendly but was still courteous. the room was generally clean but the light had a lot of dust on it so cleaning staff should look up too. Hot water pressure almost non existent. Breakfast was very good and made to order. I was in room 7 just off reception. Luckily the hotel itself is quiet but it's at street level so it may be a bother. Hotel lists itself as four stars but should really be two given lack of water pressure, lacking in cleaning details and lack of good soap and shampoo. Would stay again but ask for a room upstairs.

fine reasonable penzion for Olomouc, Olomouc needs maybe 2 nights & a full day to explore

Location and room was great and clean. Breakfast was delicious. However, parking is not free as per there ad. It is only free from 6pm-9am. Disappointed to find this out as this was part of the reason we booked this place.

The room was cold, there's no way to turn on the heat inside the room. The hotel decides when/whether to turn on the heat, it doesn't matter you feel cold or not. The blanket was thin, must be used for all seasons, I had to wear socks and fleece jacket to sleep(outside temperature was about 0 to 10C degrees). Other things are ok except the coldness.

Very nice and clean place suitable for family needs, lots of space and a good breakfast. Good value for money.

Rooms are very hot. No air conditioning and no elevator. Only 1 fan available, so get it early or you're out of luck. Easy and free overnight parking, but expensive daytime parking in their lot. Breakfast was nice, but not a lot of options (order at restaurant, not a buffet). Convenient location, close to major sites. Friendly staff, but not very knowledgeable.

Olomouc is a medium sized city in Moravia. We lucked out finding this quiet, private pension close to the historic city square.

Olomouc is a very easy Czech city to travel in. Could walk to main square and most of town from the hotel location. Very quaint and clean city. Old and charming. People are very friendly. Hotel staff very helpful. Breakfast was European style. Bathroom modern with good shower and lots of room.

good size rooms, easy to find and well located. good value for money

Pension Kriva is in a great location on a relatively quiet side street. Olomouc is a fairly nice little town (although I don't think you could spend more than a day there). Hotel is in excellent condition. We had the 2 bedroom suite which was huge and had everything you need. Only minor gripes (which appears to be the same across the Czech Republic) is the paper thin curtains which offers no protection from the morning sun and a lack of air conditioning. Other than that, highly recommended.

Great location, good hotel, pleasant staff, parking, wifi, really comfortable beds...The only downside was that as it's the low season, the spa facility was closed in the evening.

Modern, roomy and comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Housekeeping not so great and the surrounding area (pubs, cars, motorcycles) are a bit noisy. Overall, a good experience, but might consider alternatives in the future.

Spent 2 nights in July as Lonely Planet rated Olomouc as a charming old city with few tourists which was exactly right. Hotel was 2 minutes walk to the centre of town & but still in a very quiet street. Great cafes and restaurants very close. Enjoyed our stay at Pension Kriva. Took taxi from train station which is about 2.5km from the town (taxis are metred and quite cheap).
