The place is more of a hostel, it was billed as family friendly but rooms were tiny, mattresses were very thin and not comfortable, sheets had small stains on them, the shower drain was backed up and flooded the tiny bathroom, water backed up outside the bathroom onto the carpet and never dried. The toilet backed up the second day. They front desk refunded us a portion of the cost but never apologized or seemed to care much.

I was happy with this choice! The breakfast was fantastic, like being at a restaurant. The staff is kind and attentive. The location is central. The room was small, but cozy.

This was my first time in this hotel but not my last. A well appointed cosy hotel which is quite close to the centre of town...good breakfast too included

The smell in my room was so horrid I immediately left and booked somewhere else. The front desk person gave me a weird vibe and I felt very unsafe on top of that.

Unfortunately it’s not located in great area. The staff were outstanding, responding to every need. It beautiful inside , couldn’t have asked for better staff and management. We had very early start when leaving and then even arranged breakfast for us before the official breakfast times. I wpuld definitely recommend it but be sure to get taxi or Uber there if possible.

Gardiner Lodge is well located, only 5mins walk from O-Connell St and Dublin Spire which makes it very walkable and a great Hotel standard B&B to stay in. There is no parking outside the property which make drop off a challenge and there's no bar area to relax in, instead you have to make do with local pubs!

The room was small even for Dublin but clean and nice amenities. A very good shower. The staff were friendly and efficient. I always love an early check-in when arriving in Europe. Sadly that wasn’t possible, rooms “definitely not ready before 3pm” but they kept my bag. Breakfast on Sunday starts at 8am, so having an early departure I can’t comment. Overall would stay again given the value.

The place is in a slightly sketchy area especially at night. Good for walking to different locations but a little less safe later at night with our teenage girls. We were give a room in the basement. Could hear people yelling all night and the room was dark and basement window was a little unnerving. Not enough towels. Did not get that cute hotel vibe. Stayed two nights. Regretted the booking. Breakfast was good but it was in the cellar next to our room. We had asked for an early check in as we were arriving from our flight at 9:00 AM from the USA and never heard from the hotel. When we arrived we were told no. Very long day to stay up without a quick shower and change of cloths and wait until after 3:00 in the afternoon.

Very enjoyable overnight stay. Room was small which might have been problematic had I been staying longer. Good shower and very good breakfast. The hotel/room were clean and well presented.
