Somewhat difficult to find, yet well worth the search, owners are super friendly and kind. Breakfast was excellent! Would recommend hands down.

The rooms had an amazing view and the grounds were quite expansive and lovely. Ingrid and her husband made me feel so welcome, it added a personal touch to my stay. I noticed that there were many return guests, and I understand why. I hope to return some day too. It was a beautiful area to walk with my dog. And, the hotel is close to the city of Guimarães, which is an excellent day trip. It was a very relaxing stay, everything about it was perfect.

We have just come back from our Portugal trip. This is by far the best place we stayed in and honestly, I think it is seriously underpriced. We paid half of what I think this place should charge for this amazing gem. Marcus and his wife (so sorry I forgot her name) were wonderful hosts. The place itself is picture-perfect and tranquil. The breakfast was divine, and the rooms were very spacious. The shower was fantastic. I can go on. Definitely an 11 out of 10.

We loved the architecture - a juxtaposition of new and old. Our hosts, Marcus and Ingrid, were exceptionally hospitable. We can't wait to return!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The property is amazing, located on a farm with beautiful vineyards, old historic buildings and a gorgeous view. The guest rooms are very modern and comfortable, with everything you would want. The design of the units is perfect and they are tucked away into the landscape. The breakfast is great - lots to choose from and all delicious. I especially appreciate the wonderful selection of fruit. Most of all, the hosts Marcus and Ingrid are wonderfully kind and welcoming and do everything they can to make you feel at home. It was the perfect spot for us to explore all the neighboring towns, and yet we wanted to stay on the property to explore locally and enjoy the ambiance! (Make sure to check out the local - and walkable - 12th century Monastery and Roman Bridge - spectacular!) We will absolutely return and enjoy this site again.

Marcus and his family were great hosts, if you are looking for a place to relax with friends and family this is it!

Marco was very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was very good . Unfortunately when we stayed here the weather was very rainy so we couldn't take advantage of the rural setting. In good weather and especially the spring or summer this property would be a great place to stay.

Quiet - wonderful for relaxing. Beautiful view of the properties and vineyard Pool was great, breakfast very nice. Off the beaten track. Well worth a visit. Host was excellent

A charming place with comfortable rooms, friendly service and breathtaking scenery. About 20 min from the town of Guimares, this is a great place to stay after leaving Porto or on your way from the north. It’s a bit remote so a car is necessary or you can take an Uber. Recommend you arrive during the day as it is rather dark in that area by night. Owned by a friendly couple and managed by a lovely lady Liliana. A real pleasure to spend the night. It’s clean, safe, comfortable and charming.

Quiet little town with great gastronomy and friendly people, feel like home!! Owners of Palácio Nova Seara are sweet and kind. Hotel is clean and breakfast is outstanding. Highly recommend this place to anyone that wanted to rest and eat the best home made food in Portugal.

This is an unbelievably large property that really gives you the feel of countryside Portugal. You are basically in the middle of a vineyard and the host is very friendly. We arrived late at night (this place was a little hard to find) but we were greeted very nicely and the host even showed us where to make coffee at night. In the morning we were greeted by delicious breakfast and then given a tour of the old complex adjacent to the dining hall and family suite are where we stayed. The family suite was the largest hotel room/suite I have ever stayed in. Really amazing! There were four of us but the host even set up a fifth rollaway bed just in case we brought someone along last minute. There was also a crib in the room for little guests if needed.

We enjoyed a quiet interlude at this hotel on our way out of Porto on our way to the Douro wine region. It was delightful.

Paco de Pombeiro was delightful, set in the countryside and adjoining a vineyard. The owners took wonderful care of us, and the food was excellent -- we enjoyed home-made jellies and fresh fruit from their land. It's a great location to simply relax and enjoy country life, and close enough to Guimarraes and Braga to do some sightseeing. Overall a great experience-- we would go again.

Suite espaçosa, confortável, com ótima cama. Falta suporte para objetos no box do banheiro, tomada para ligar o secador de cabelo sobre a pia do banheiro, leite quente no café da manhã.
