We very much enjoyed our two night stay at Serenity cottages. Located at the very end of Shoal Bay East Beach in a quiet Harbor setting, you can relax in their smallish beach area watching the pelicans and other sea birds hunting for fish, or walk the entire length of the beach, which is quite gorgeous. The rooms were very spacious and the setting is extremely peaceful and quiet. There was no one around us, and we loved the complete privacy. Very pretty garden setting that lives up to its name. We did not eat at the property, but the restaurant is known to be excellent. Would very much recommend this property for its beauty, complete privacy and peacefulness.

Pleasantly surprised on check in. Both the living room and bedroom had terrific views of the sea and both accessed the large balcony via sliding doors. Kitchen, bedroom and bathroom were all good size. The beach was pretty nice with private loungers, and was only about a 5-10 minute walk to the heart of East Shoal Bay beach which was amazing. The restaurant at Serenity was terrific as well. The best dinner we had in the East Shoal Bay Area was there. Breakfast was great too. Restaurant prices were not higher than any of the other nicer restaurants on the island, and happy hour had half off drinks. Jackie, who seems to do everything there (check in, bartender, server, etc), was very nice and professional. Definitely recommend as an alternative lodging to the resorts that are right on the heart of East Shoal Bay beach.

Clean room, comfortable bed, great AC, coffee maker and small refrigerator in room

internet access was bad. Several things in the suite needed repair (missing handle on slider, other slider was hard to open, bar missing on one screen). Furniture needs to be cleaned. Rug was dirty.

Amazing alternative to the cost-prohibitive properties in the heart of Shoal Bay. Large, clean, handsome room. Friendly staff. Restaurant on-site. Ten-minute walk down beach to multiple Shoal Bay eateries.

Clean spacious rooms, beautiful gardens, lovely beach, great staff. This is a quiet and private place next to a stretch of undeveloped beach, with restaurants and bars a 10 minute walk on Shoal Bay. Had several meals here including a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner.

Staff was very nice and location convenient to the airport and beach

Serenity cottages lives up to its name--SUCH a serene place, with an almost deserted beautiful beach. The staff and management did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable, including working graciously with us to resolve some issues with the wifi, television and shower pressure. Though the units could use some refreshing, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Overall, we would definitely come back, and can't speak highly enough of Kenneth, the owner, the service and staff.

An amazing hideaway of peace and quiet in the most beautiful gardens with wonderful sea views. Truly a haven of tranquility and also really lovely food. We were so very happy here in our secret corner of beautiful Anguilla. Thank you Kenneth and the team

It was a wonderful peaceful stay. Allowed my brain to reboot. Never had to leave the property except to walk Shoal Bay Beach-one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Host Jackie is outstanding-attentive without being intrusive, kind and caring. Highly recommend!!

Really cute and quiet property to chill at!

Our arrival with our two grown daughters was delayed on Xmas day and Jackie opened the kitchen for us and gave us a fantastic late night Xmas meal on our balcony! The service and staff were so welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed being on the quieter side of Shoal Bay and being able to walk the beautiful beach and visit more restaurants around the corner. Our room was huge with two very large bedrooms and a full kitchen above the beach. The beach bar sadly was closed but the restaurant/bar area was lovely and we enjoyed Jackie’s cocktails for happy hour and the hospitality of Kenneth the owner. Francesca made sure we had what we needed in our rooms and was so pleasant and attentive too. I can’t wait to come back!

The grounds are beautiful and well kept as are the rooms. Received early check in at 1:00 with out an up charge. Very walkable to shoal bay east beaches and very safe. Staff were friendly. Snorkeling was good. I would go back.
