We stayed at this Gasthof because we were visiting Linz and waited too long to book. I'm happy we discovered this location - the countryside is beautiful and the overnighting was convenient and comfortable. The breakfast was definitely the best part :) The room was clean and comfortable, no complaints about the service. We did notice a bit of commuter traffic on the weekday morning, but it was not bad. If you can ask for a room near the back, you might not notice at all. Again, no complaints. There is a nice courtyard to sit and enjoy the sunshine and a drink. We didn't use the restaurant/bar in the evening, but it may have been closed due to Covid-19. We were out enjoying the evenings in Linz and local areas after a bike ride along the Donau. We were on the 3rd floor, it didn't bother us to climb the stairs. This would be a great jump off point to visit the mountains in the south. I would return to the Gasthof if I were in the area.

Very pleasant overnight stay The room was very clean and well furnished Restaurant was very busy but we had already eaten. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and professional. Would stay again

Gasthof was basic but clean and tidy. Bett squeaked very loud and very uncomfortable. Area lovely and quiet. Would stay again. Very reasonable, and friendly staff.

The owners were absent and left a sign on the door, "on vacation." We could not access our room and had to leave. Still negotiating a refund from Hotels.com!

They still had an small old tv Family run restaurant and hotelgasthof.

I ended up paying twice for my bill when i was checking out of the hotel on 22nd may because of lack of knowledge of the hotel staff of english and also processes. I had made an earlier payment through credit card however the staff asked me to pay again, and had to pay again in cash. Later on reaching back when I called up my credit card company they said the payment was already made.Hope to get a refund for the excess amount paid

We stayed one night as transit stop. Location was good being able to enjoy a walk into town. Pleasant staff, convenient car parking available with restaurant on site.

Difficult to identify an entry door. Telephone number on door to contact them just rang and rang. Heavy traffic noise all night. Clean room. Good breakfast

Room was nice. Opened up to a nice private patio. The big problem that I encountered was with the staff. The staff IS NOT at the front desk past about 21:00 and only for a few hours in the morning and from about 18:00-21:00 in the evening. Even fewer weekend hours. Be sure to check the hours and make sure you arrive when the front desk staff is there, otherwise you will not be able to check in (I saw this happen twice). Otherwise, it was a nice experience.

1 night stay for business, on my way over to Armstetten/Waidhofen area. The hotel was really nice, and the food in their restaurant was good (although the beer was somewhat pricey) The only criticism I have is that they do not accept payment by any form of card, meaning I had to walk about 15 mins to the other side of the village to the only cash point. There is no warning about this when you book through hotels.com, and they take your card details for security (if you can't process them, why bother?!) That said, the staff were really friendly and helpful (pointing me in the right direction to the cash machine) and I would definitely stay there again.

Die Strasse ging unmittelbar vor unserem Fenster vorbei!

Abenteuerlich ist schon, wie man an einem der (zwei!) Ruhetage des GH überhaupt hinein kommt! Selbst wenn man durch eine Umrundung (!!!) des Gebäudes endlich dieses "Gerät" in einem Versteck findet - funktioniert das Aufsperren längst nicht. (Wir versuchten es zu Dritt vergebens) . Gleiches beim Verlassen des Hauses in Richtung des "oberen" Parkplatzes. Unglaublich :-((( Das Frühstück ist von sagenhafter Lieblosigkeit und entspricht in der Präsentation dem Standard von Jugendhäusern der 1970er Jahre.

albergo carino ben tenuto struttura e mobili un pò datati, personale cortese, colazione abbondante.

Im Zi. Nr. 2 schimmeln die beiden Fensterspaletten. im Bad fällt Abdeckung ständig runter, war alles für uns aber kein Problem, da wir nur eine Nacht in der Unterkunft blieben. Frühstück war i.O.

Freundliches Personal, gutes Essen, sauberes Zimmer, gerne wieder.
