Inchcape is a remarkable and stunning property. If you are looking for quiet and relaxation, away from the crowds, this is the spot for you. A car ( left sude driving) is best but the public bus is a short walk away and runs frequently. We enjoyed the bus rides and nit having to negotiate parking. Uber and Tacus are another option. The villas do not provide typical hotel amenities such as shampoo and lotions. The kitchens are well sticked but lack basics like salt and pepper. We stayed a week and enjoyed home cooked meals instead of daily restaurants. Thr staff is welcoming but hard to find

I was looking forward to my visit, based on the reviews. Unfortunately we picked the wrong room, seaview studio. The room was good, the balcony was good with a seaview but you could not sit on the balcony due to the mosquitoes problem, also no sun and no breeze, which was the reason why, which one if the cleaners pointed out when she noticed all my bites. There is a fabulous garden area to sit and relax with 4 sunbeds and 2 tables and chairs which are put out by the gardeners usually around 10.30 but unfortunately taken in at 5pm, strict rules by management and locked away, so there is no place to have a sundowner and watch the sunset, or have a late meal in the garden, which is very disappointing. There is a night watchman which surely could have brought them in. The garden area is fabulous for the crashing waves against the rocks and no mosquitoes around due to the fabulous breeze.

The deluxe villa itself is great (except it gets flooded almost every day - more below). The management is the worst, and potentially (intentionally or not) is fraudulent. While Hotels.com explicitly says that the price you see is the price you pay, the management CHARGES EXTRA 4% credit card payment fee! They hid it within the cancelation policy. But the booking is non-refundable, so a normal customer is not going to read the cancelation policy because the customer knows it is non-refundable. Another issue is that during our stay there were heavy showers almost every day/night, and the villa is built in such way that it gets flooded. Even if you close the shutters, it still gets flooded (to a lesser extent). But they didn't even tell us this until the problem occurred. Only then they decided to play a General Sense by pronouncing "if you don't close shutters it gets flooded". Where were you AT THE CHECK-IN with the pre-emptive advice? Yet another issue: the deluxe villa was only cleaned ONCE. We were the ONLY guests for an entire week, the policy says they clean every 3 days, but it was only cleaned once on the 3rd day. That's it. Pros: there is a shared grill. Be aware that you do need a car to get to decent beaches and stores etc.

Very quiet property, away from the busy town. 1/4 mile from a local bus stop that takes you to the town. The local beach is okay, a bit rocky but the ambiance and sound during the night is very peaceful. The staff was helpful at check-in. After that there was hardly anyone around. Tried to contact through WhatsApp but no response. Needed more towels but nobody was around. If you plan on staying at this property, ask for additional towels beforehand and be prepared to walk uphill for the bus stop. 4/5 ⭐️

It was such a pleasant stay - a little off the beaten path so a vehicle is a good idea. The beach isn't for anyone that's a poor swimmer, but it's lovely, and easy to fall asleep to the waves at night! Would stay here again, the staff were wonderful, everything was clean and well kept. Thank you!

This is a wonderful place to stay but you do need to hire a car to really get the best of it. Lots of great customer care and attention.

Property is fairly remote, need to take a bus pretty much everywhere. Downstairs apartments feel moldy. Staff super friendly and management very responsive trying to accommodate all guests needs. This is a perfect place for the surfers or person writing a book but not so good for people wanting to be on beach or go out in evenings.

The view is all it has going for it. The owner is mean and not welcoming at all and stays on the property. We had no privacy because the staff would just come into our place without knocking and because there is no air condition we had to leave the windows open and the ground keeper would always be looking into the windows. I do not recall the site saying there was no air condition on this property so this was a bit uncomfortable for us. Again because the windows had to stay open and there are no screens we got bit up by mosquitoes, roaches were in the kitchen, and a stray cat would come inside. This place is not worth the money!

Lovely place to stay, away from the busy-ness of the main strip, but only a 10minute drive to Oistins. The gardens are beautifully maintained, always somewhere comfortable to find the sun or shade. The villas themselves are extremely well kept and clean, very comfortable beds. Prudance and Ginger can't do enough to help you if needed. As a bonus there is a nice little reef-break out the front to have a surf on...nothing too extreme, but generally you'll have it to yourself so can pick and choose your waves...great for kitesurfing as well.

Lovely property on the south coast of Barbados. The unit I stayed in was very nice and comfortable. The staff at Inchcape were great from the manager Prudence to the housekeeping staff especially Ginger and the taxi service Rodney. They were always pleasant and did whatever they could to make my stay enjoyable. I did not meet the owners even though they were on site for several days of my stay. The view of the sea from the property was beautiful, however the abandoned hotel directly next door unfortunately is an eyesore.

Put it this way there wasnt anything i didnt like about my stay at Inchcape! They are beautiful Villas situated on the southern tip of the Island of Barbados. You wake up to the sound of the ocean and rest your head at night to the same. There are beautiful flowers and palm trees everywhere! You here the sound of roosters in the background and if your fortuntate enough you will see wild monkeys in and out of bushes and trees. You can relax on your own personal deck or sit and enjoy the courtyards! The kitchens are fully equipped for making meals. There is also beautiful art work throughout the villas. If you want to enjoy a day at your own personal beach its right there for you to do that. The staff is lovely! Very friendly and always there to help you with really anything. I honestly cant say enough about my stay at Inchcape and the Island of Barbados! It was the most wonderful experience of my life, Barbados is a very spiritual place. Thankyou to Prudence and Ginger and Shamara and all of the staff. I cannot wait to visit again! Thankyou so much!
