There was an odour in our room. My husband was bothered by it. The staff was very friendly. Nice to deal with. Restaurant on site was very good ! Would go there again.

The room was very dated. It looked like it hadn't been updated since the 1950's. We paid $200 Canadian for a substandard room. There was an unpleasant musty smell in the room and we felt the bed springs on the mattress. There was no free breakfast.

This was our second stay at the Cabot Trail Motel. We find the rooms very clean and well kept. The view of the lake from the room adds a nice touch. The staff were excellent when we had to leave early due to a family emergency back home. While our stay was short this year, we will be coming back.

Nice view of the lake. Room was adequate. Price was right. Food was good. Staff was awesome!! Checking in was pleasant and efficient. Server at breakfast and dinner was exceptional. She had a smile on her face at all times and treated everyone like family. Checking out was easy and the gal recommended a good book about Alexander and Mabel Bell. Very nice staff who seem to take pride in this motel. We enjoyed our stay.

View was beautiful, staff very friendly. Retro rooms but comfortable bed. Restaurant wasn’t open yet as it was their first weekend open this year

Great place to stay

Clean and well maintained room. Beautiful view across the lawn and lake. Very delicious breakfast of fish cakes, hash browns, eggs, etc. Great service. Definitely would come again. Alexander Graham Bell NHS is quite amazing and inspiring.

It’s so cozy . Rooms were clean and excellent.

Cabot Trail Motel was conveniently located for our tour atound the Cabot Trail. It had a beautiful view with a deck to sit out on, as did all the rooms. The facility is older but it was clean with comfortable beds. That's important. Our timing was perfect to tour the trail as the color of the foilage was at it's peak, October 9/24. It has an onsite restaurant but we didn't eat there because we were touring and our visit was short. Check in and out was easy. The staff was excellent and humorous. We would definitely stay there again.
