This is an old motel with some updates. Most importantly the beds were pretty good actually. At only $100 a night i think it was a good deal.....but i'm not sure why some people are rating it 8/10 "fabulous" as it leads to higher expectations.

Cozy place

Spotless room that provide lots of options for convenient meal making in room. TV picture was dark and not full screen on older small television. No controls to improve the picture and it was NHL playoffs! The motel owners and staff were all very friendly, courteous and attentive. Very reasonable rates.

Wonderful

The beds are a little hard as are the pillows, but that's legitimately. My only complaint for this place. Everything else was great. Checking was easy staff was very sweet and the price was good.As well

Great place to stay

Check in was a breeze, the lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and newly renovated. Washroom and bedding were clean. Only thing I would say is wear socks full time or bring indoor slippers. Spilt a little water on the floor and when I used a tissue to wipe it it came back really dirty… other than that I didn’t notice anything that stood out. Walls are THIN, and there’s a few cracks and bangs you hear throughout the night but nothing startling. This hotel is pet friendly with the exception that theres a “no pets on the bed” rule. Overall very satisfied with my stay.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It was a bit too warm in the room and no thermostat to adjust the temperature.

Jack the Owner / Manager was so helpful arranging for a taxi to go to a restaurant as we snowmobiled to the hotel. He made came into our room to ensure our heat was turned on as it was -16 C outside.

Always a pleasure to stay here. Its perfect in value and comfort!

Good value for the price

The rooms were quiet cozy clean. The only problem was is that the hotel runs on boiler heaters and the rooms were freezing cold and they provided us with a heater. But the thing was so loud that we couldn't even Slee, so we had to turn it off.

Very good for the price, lots of place and clean

Front desk service is fast and very accommodating. Fal is kind and considerate. Overall experience is good.

The motel room appeared exactly as pictured in the photos on line. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the amenities and Wi-Fi connection were great! The location was perfect and the manager was very personable and friendly! The room rate was particularly attractive in comparison to other more expensive options nearby. I would definitely choose the Time Travellers Motel for stays in the future.
