The free mini golf is great for the kids. Overall, for the price in this area, it is good value.

The Tide’s inn has beach access which is wonderful for a summer holiday! There is free and unlimited mini golf just next door! It is in the heart of Parksville so you can get around by foot easily to shops and restaurants! The Staff is very friendly and welcoming and so willing to make your stay the best it can possibly be! Loved the free popcorn every afternoon! My niece & I had a wonderful stay and plan on going back again next year!

The room was clean and quiet, however it was across from the cleaning cart storage and gate so we could not see out of our room. It was a walk to the beach. I expected to at least be able to see the water. The tv had nothing to watch on the limited channels. The staff was super nice and helpful, and as I said earlier the room was nice, clean, the beds, linens, and towels were very nice. I expected something different on the outside based on the photos.

It was clean and well maintained. We had a great stay! The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. They even gave my son popcorn, which was a lovely surprise and made his day. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. We would be happy to stay here again!

Had problem with the TV and the front desk person came up immediately in about 1 minute and fixed it perfectly.

Great central location. The free round of mini-golf was great! Quiet at night.

The hotel is advertised as having ocean access within 5 minutes walk -true if you are ok going down a steepish dirt path but not so otherwise. The room was small and , while clean, felt old and a bit 'grubby', the air conditioner struggled to keep the place cool and the outdoor facilities comprised a plastic table and chairs. The staff were helpful and the shower was good. I came in the peak tourist season so the rental rate reflected that fact. October's rate as posted looks to be about 1/4 of what I paid and more reflective of what I would consider value for money spent. I will not be staying there again

We had a great time meeting family at the Tides Inn! It was easy to access from the highway. Lots of parking. Free popcorn and coffee in the lobby when we arrived. Our room was spotless and nice and cool. Our stay included unlimited mini golf next door! There were plenty of picnic tables a large BBQ to use and just a few minutes to the beach. We were 100% satisfied 👍👍👍 Thanks! We'll definitely book again!

We checked in quite late, and despite being probably the last travellers to check in for the day, the gentleman who helped us was so friendly and kind. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy! Would definitely stay again.

The service was excellent and the room older but clean. The soundproofing was very bad. Awakened at 1 am by guests walking upstairs!

Front Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, with fluffy pillows. We used the complimentary free mini-golf at the park adjacent to the Hotel, nice min golf course, clean and well maintained. The fire pits at the hotel were a nice extra. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Very old, bathroom smelled. Our room was very small. The outside looked fine, but overall the inside is old and needs a complete overhaul. Was charged an exorbitant price and not worth it.

The property was clean, newly renovated. It was close to the beach and walking distance to shore and restaurants.

Checking in was easy. The room was cleaned and had what we needed. Staff set up a cot to use for our extra guest and included it in their room cleans daily. The unlimited free mini golf next door for hotel guests was the perfect way to keep the kids busy. The staff were all very kind and helpful. On our final day my 6 year old went into the office for a bandaid. He told Rema how he had broke his sandal and cut his toe, and we had forgot to come in for popcorn the previous night. She made him and his cousins popcorn for their drive home. My mom goes there every year and I can see why. We will definitely be back
