It was a beautiful old home restored to the original age of home, with modern amenities. Beds were so comfortable too. Breakfast was delicious and served with elegance. We recommend as a place to stay.

Really nice old heritage house with unique rooms named after the original owners family. Walk to the Dildo Brewery. View the cove from your window. Excellent host Todd he will make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. All fresh food and homemade muffins. 2 thumbs 👍👍

The property was impeccable. Tod (owner) is a very knowledgeable host. He takes great pride in his carefully restored 140+home. Every attention to detail was shown. Modern conveniences have been installed in the home. In doing so every effort has been made to retain the vintage era of the property.

This is a lovely heritage home. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom I had felt very luxurious.

We had a beautiful ocean view in the Kenneth Room. Todd was a wonderful host, and served a delicious breakfast. Dildo Brewery was just steps from The George House, a perfect spot for dinner and right on the ocean.

What a beautiful property. First timers to Newfoundland and we couldn’t have ask for a better stay. The breakfast was fantastic, our hosts were friendly and welcoming. A gorgeous Victoria home with stunning character.

This is a beautiful dwelling built in 1885, and has been painstakingly rejuvenated to its original condition with the addition of modern bathrooms and a/c. If you appreciate heritage buildings and a glimpse into the past (with a few modern upgrades) this is for you. On top of that, the breakfast is second to none.

Todd was a great host, breakfast was excellant, view and location were great! Gorgeous house with front porch where you can sit and watch the sunset.

Todd is a delightful, experienced host. The decor matches the historic home and is complemented by modern washroom and amenities. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and just enough to get our day started right. Location was excellent with views of the cove and right beside the Coffee House and across the street from Dildo Bewery.

It was a very well kept Heritage home. The room was very clean and nicely furnished. Bed was comfortable. Nice view with chairs to sit outside enjoy it. We were warmly welcomed by Todd. He was very helpful with information about the area. The continental breakfast was enjoyed in the dining room visiting with other guests.

Georges Heritage House est un petit coin de paradis. Un lieu rempli d’histoire. Un bijou ! 3e génération et Todd le propriétaire actuel fait honneur a ses grands-parents. Le déjeuner exquis avec un gâteau aux tomates fait le matin même pour ses hôtes. Un endroit qui restera gravé à jamais dans ma mémoire.

Buyer beware! Many additional "Expedia" fees that I have not experienced with other Expedia bookings. The posted nightly rate is not the actual price. Nice, historic building with a helpful host who is thoughtful and accommodating.

Beautiful place to stay and very clean!

Originally, I booked a one night stay but extended it for an additional night -- and would have liked to stay even longer -- because I was so comfortable there. It's a beautiful property in a scenic location and with great views. The house has been carefully restored and maintained, and it was a delight to enjoy the history and ambiance. Highly recommended.

Room was clean, bed comfy. Home cooked muffins, fruit and yogurt in morning. Will definitely return.
