I was not able to get to this lodging. I was not aware a ferry was required to get to it and I arrived in the dark. It was my fault because I didn’t read thoroughly enough as I was in a hurry, but I would be ever so grateful if the charge would be forgiven. Judith mclane

The property needs quite a bit of updating and renovations. The wallpaper dates from the 70's or 80's and is peeling. The smell of humidity is quite present and is probably related to the use of carpeting through parts of the room. There was mold on the tiles in the shower. There is no AC but a fan is provided. The HDMI cable was missing for the TV, but the owner provided us with a new one. Most likely would not go back to that establishment. Too bad because they are sitting on a nice piece of real estate with a big land.

Lovely place, charming owner. Unfortunately for us, the weather was terrible, but we were able to spend a cozy few hours in front of the fire in the lobby. I would recommend Motel les Voitures d'eaux.

Owner was absolutely outstanding. We are not French speaking. He went above and beyond to communicate with us. Truly a remarkable person. Will be back with the wife.

2 night stay, family of 3 Owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. We wanted to go whale watching and they took care of all the arrangements for us, they also told us about nice stops to visit on the way to the activity. Our room was comfortable, but outdated. Think 70's. No air conditioning, nor fans. If you need a small fridge in your room, it's best to plan ahead with the owner when making reservations. Beds were too firm for our liking, but that's just us. Bathroom is basic, but clean. Free wi-fi and parking. There's a nice pool and plenty of different sitting areas on the property, including a spot for a bonfire when weather permits. If you go up the steps behind the motel, you'll get a gorgeous view of the waterway and surroundings. Across the street from the property, there's a nice sitting area by the waterfront, reserved for this establishments' clientele, as well as a small maritime museum that you can visit for a small fee. Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 am. The food was ok, but you'll gag at the price (if you didn't book with breakfast included) (we were quite disappointed when our plates arrived). We went elsewhere for breakfast the 2nd morning. It's also a good idea to bring snacks and such, stores are few and far away... Overall, it was a nice stay, nothing to write home about, but not anything to balk at either.

Just one night. We should have planned for an extra day so we could cycle around the Island. Breakfast is great if you are a meat eater. Not much to offer for those who want a meatless meal and no continental breakfast.

I choose this hotel because of the good reviews here but now I regret. There was no Wi-Fi in the room. You have to walk a little bit to see the river. The owner is nice but his wife is aloof. She did not even look at me when I said good buy.

Room was new, clean and comfortable. No coffee maker or phone in room. A room was available to guests with microwave and vending machine though. Limited Hours at reception, left key as no one to give it to.
