Stayed for 3 nights for a business trip and it's a very nice hotel. The room was very large and the food in the restaurant on site was very enjoyable. It's a 3 minute walk to the station and you can be in Zurich in 25 minutes. My only small criticism is that there were no tea/coffee making facilities either in the room or elsewhere in the hotel but would recommend it to others.

Check in was a bit complicated because they use an intercom to relay a code after a certain time. The door had some technical issues. But the staff was very patient and helped resolve it in ~15 mins. The room is nice, only equipped with a fan (but windows open). The shower water runs under the bathroom sink in our suite, so i wish the shower was better built. Overall 4/5 stay. I would recommend the town and facility to POC.

Very friendly if limited service. The place is clean and appears well-run. The restaurant downstairs shares a name and building but seems to be independent. Regardless, it is nice and worth trying. Beware the church bells! For me they blended into the background by day 2 or 3 and became much less noticeable.

I loved my stay here, really good and vosy

Very friendly Super easy check-in. The key waited in an envelope with all information required. The Hotel does not serve breakfast but gives voucher for an excellent bakery 100m down the street. The restaurant were I had dinner is very good and personal very friendly. Overall really good stay.

Nice self check in guest house. The heating was very low and was quite cold in the room. No phone in room to call to check it. Heating dial was adjusted and temperature didn't change.wpre a heavy sweater yo stay warm. Don't think I'll go back if they don't fix the heating solution for guests.

I reserved the twin business room. In that picture they showed 4 different layouts however I ended up with the last picture layout that was on the third floor at the end of the hall. There was no elevator so I had to carry my suitcase and checked bag up all those flights. When booking this room I was hesitant because I was hoping to not get the room they gave me, but guess I got the short end of the stick. Overall, it was an ok stay. The bathroom was amazing and modern and the staff was very friendly and communicated efficiently!

Hotel feels like new....only downside, no elevator and rooms are upstairs. Beautifully updated and excellent service. Supermarkets close by.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Gasthof zum Hecht and will definitely return next time I am in Fehraltorf. Whilst there was no one at reception when I arrived, I received a very warm welcome from Mara on the phone and instructions on where to find the keys etc. The room was well appointed with a minibar, TV and the bathroom had all the necessary toiletries you could wish for. I found the bed very comfortable and enjoyed a good nights sleep. In the morning I received another warm welcome from Mara whilst she made fresh cappuccino for me and showed me the breakfast room. Breakfast is simple, but adequate. All the usual bread and rolls etc. together with a selection of cheeses and cold cuts, muesli, yoghurts and fruit. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel if you are looking for clean, comfortable accommodation with friendly staff.

Quiet town, but noisy around some parts of the hotel.

The room was very nice and super clean. It was really very hot, with no effective a/c, and opening the window meant being disturbed every 15 minutes all night by the large clock in the tower next door.

Hotel staff were amazing, I had booked this Hotel for business due to location and it didn't fail to hit the mark... I asked to book a taxi back to the airport and was told that the train station was only round the corner at a fraction of the cost. They then printed out all the instruction and talked me through the route. So easy, so relaxing! Saved a small fortune too!!! As for the food... What can I say, 10/10 full marks

frühstück im zimmer fehlt!

Ich war im Rahmen einer Geschäftsreise eine Nacht im Gasthof. Obwohl ich nur ein normales Zimmer gebucht hatte, bekam ich ein upgrade in die Hotel Suite. Alles sehr gut, werde ich auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, leider war es ein bisschen warm auch mit Ventilator.

J'ai séjourné pour la première fois dans cet hôtel pour affaires dans la région; très bien situé mais un peu bruyant en raison de la proximité de la rue. Chambre rénovées très bien aménagées

Alles Top! Mir hat nur eine kleine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer gefehlt, aber das ist "nice to have"
