For the third time at this hotel love it from the Amenities to the staff the reception everyone super friendly.

Good location hotel, walkable distance from Ancona old town and lake. Nice pickup and drop of with hotel bus (from and to Locarno train station. Staff was overwhelmed with a series of group booking, confusion was evident but no improvement. My room was a small but with a view, AC not working and none of the staff knew how to fix it. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake and pool was a nice setting but staff again overwhelmed with groups.

Beautiful setting overlooking the harbor of Ascona. Rooms were clean and comfortable with wonderful toiletries. Swimming pool is large with many comfortable lounge chairs. Great and beautiful sitting rooms.

The location, the surroundings and the view of the hotel are wonderful. The personnel was very nice and helpful. But our room was really, really old. Not 4-star. Old carpet, very old appliances and lots of chipped items. The bed was comfortable though.

Close to downtown area. Gave us champagne when we arrived. Pool was great!

The room were very dirty,... we have late check in and the front desk staff wasn’t at position and totally no qualify at all to work in any hotel. Rule and irresponsible!!! The worst that we are traveling with 2 kids, and discover the room has a huge cockroach! Which that is totally not acceptable

Great family room with separate bedroom with bunk beds for kids. Large terrace with table and chairs. Very clean. Friendly staff. Great breakfast for CHF 20 per person. Kids are free

Staff very friendly and helpful. All spoke good English. Good quality breakfast, not lavish but fruit, eggs, cheese, pastries all delicious. Enjoyed the dinners, the menu more Swiss German than Italian. Highlights were the pool, heated and big enough for real swimming, lovely terraces to eat and drink, views of the town, lake and mountains, spacious room (we had upgrade to lake view and balcony).

Hotel itself is beautiful. Very well located. Steps away from the Center & to the Lake. The rooms are huge, the balcony is pleasant. View from the room is gorgeous. Breakfast is awesome. Staff is friendly & helpful. I really appreciated their openness. I loved everything. Price was fair. I do recommend Hotel Ascona

The staff was very helpful with accommodating my needs. The view outside the window was very nice, and the welcoming fruits and flowers were great.

The hotel sits on a hill overlooking lago maggiore. Rooms have balconies overlooking that great view of the lake and the mountains above.

We were impressed by this hotel's beautiful view of the lake & Mountains. The restaurant, bar, & pool areas were great to just relax in & very well decorated. We rented e-bikes from the hotel - a fantastic experience that made it much easier to get around the hilly neighborhood.

Schönes in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Leider nicht wirklich eine hundefreundliche Unterkunft: Zwar sind Hunde in der Unterkunft grundsätzlich erlaubt, jedoch nicht im Restaurant – weder beim Frühstück noch beim Abendessen, auch nicht auf der Terrasse. Beim Einchecken fragten wir nach, wo sich unser Hund aufhalten dürfe. Die Antwort lautete: laut Hotelrichtlinie im Grunde nur im Hotelzimmer. Aus unserer Sicht werden Hunde hier lediglich geduldet, aber nicht wirklich willkommen geheißen. Für uns entspricht das nicht dem Anspruch einer hundefreundlichen Unterkunft.

Für mich war neu , der Ausbau in weiss ist sehr schön gelungen.Bewertung 1-10 , für mich eine 9.Die 9 wegen der Badewanne mit dem Vorhang , ich hätte lieber eine Dusche.Nun gut Wir werden sicher wieder kommen und auch an Freunde eine sehr positive Empfehlung weitergeben.Vielen Dank dem Management und dem ganzen Team , einfach Top , Daumen hoch !
