Access to the hotel was difficult. Parking was half a mile away and construction was going on.

Great stay. Tip: If you have a car, pull into the parking garage when you get close to the bottom of the hill, we took a few laps around trying to figure out where to go. Bring your stub with you to the hotel to validate for a cheaper parking rate Very good staff and owners. They went out of their way to ensure a great stay. Be sure to book a spa time. Very relaxing. Great meal for dinner. Good breakfast. Charming old hotel with character. Bed was the best we’ve had in a month of travel. Short walk up the hill to shopping and a drink downtown. Would recommend a stay here.

Total Spa Bliss! If you want an authentic spa experience in a truly traditional historic hotel then look no further than Blume. The two brothers who host this amazing hotel make you feel warm and at home. The rooms are modern updated, but the hotel has kept its classic charm. There is a famous "Big Hot Stone" that resides outside the doors of Blume and has supplied endless hot mineral water before the time of the Roman Empire. People have been coming here to bathe in its healing waters for centuries. At Blume you can still get a private bathing area for you or you and a partner. The hot water is very special to soak your cares away. They also have in the spa area every kind of shower you can think of from cold bucket pull to a classic bell shaped head, hose type (I liked it best to really cool off quickly!) to arctic mist. The sauna and steam rooms were lovely and designed very well. The "relax area" was unique and made you feel like you stepped back in time 600 years ago. Plus the wonderful candles that were lit for us even during the day was such a nice touch. The cuisine at the restaurant was top notch and the breakfast a great start to our day. Beds are very comfy and you even get a choice of pillows if you like. Plus they have organized the documentation of the hotels history so you can learn about Blume since the 1700's. Very fascinating history well worth checking out!

Very old and antique - But HVAC didn't work, light was not working correctly, and very expensive, price and quality did not match.

Baden is a clean, attractive Swiss city with a casino and hot baths, one of which is in the Hotel Atrium Blume. The hotel is old, and with a lovely entry and an atrium which gives it the name. The rooms are quite up to date, Swiss and cleanly functional, not historical/period decoration. The breakfast area is charming and the breakfast Swiss-basic-good. Dinner is really nice, and events are often held here. Parking is challenging, as there is lots of construction in the area. Rooms are air conditioned and it works, which is huge! I love the hotel, the location and the feel.

The Staff were very helpful. The Spa was one of the best i have been at. With the newly refurbished thermal water rooms, sauna, steam room, all sort of showers and the relaxing room with complimentary tea. a forst one on me is that you can have the place to yourself by booking. It is only 30 mins which it does not allow for the traditional 3 rounds of sauna but the whole place is yours. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing i did not like is that the privacy is a bit vacant in the fact that the restaurant and conferences facilities are in your door. The place is full of character, so if what you want are spank new facilities you maybe better looking elsewhere.

We had a great time here, staying in an unusually designed atrium hotel, with free use of thermal baths, sauna and steam room. The service was excellent. There was a wide range of choice for breakfast, including cold meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, various breads and jams, and the fresh fruit salad was excellent. We used it as a base to visit the Rhine Falls, and the hotel is also just a 15 minute train ride from Zurich.

The hotel’s building is like a well-maintained piece of antique. My room was located in the main part, it looked old-fashioned from outside but inside was modernly renovated, especially the bathroom was clean and comfortable. What impressed me most was the hotel’s baths. Several small baths can be booked for private use. In the evening, the simply decorated baths lit by candle lights really looked like old Roman baths. The spa area was modern, clean and luxurious. The quality of the hot-spring water in Baden was truly amazing.

Stayed here with my wife on a business trip. The Hotel has an old but classy feel. A classic elevator and many nice decorative furnishings, art, and flowers. Overall a beautiful place. The hot spring baths in the basement are a nice experience. Big enough for two, maybe 4 people. The breakfast was adequate but the dining tables around the atrium were very nice. About a 5 minute walk downhill from the train station. Easy to find. Very close to the river. A bus is apparently an option but we always just walked. I would go there again.
