The staff is nice and helpful. The included breakfast was very good. My only complaint was the difficulty checking in at the front door. On Mondays the front desk was closed when we arrived. If I hadn't had a friend who spoke German and was able to obtain the code and assist me with entrance, it would have been very stressful.

Great location, right in the city center of Solothurn. Bed could have been more comfortable but hotel has a nice vintage feel and the staff were so friendly and lovely. Would stay again!

Was a very nice facility in the heart of a beautiful city.

The staff were very nice and helpful and the central location makes it very easy to get to and from. However, be aware the hotel is in the center of the old town right next to the bell tower and churches. The bells go off all night so I was unable to leave the windows open at night. That said close the windows and it’s quiet enough but there is no climate control (at least in my room) so in summer that could make the rooms very hot and stuffy at night.

Not a hotel for business stay, the hotel is very old and no amentities and way inside from the taxi stands, train stations and bus stops. They dont have even a kettle or fridge at the room and if you have to drink even a tea or hot water, you would have to go to the kitchen. The room ventilation is so bad and there are no air conditioners or fans to central cooling units. After staying at this place for a week, I would definitely advise not a worth to stay here.

Situated right in the centre of the town. Very nice to walk around. Food is every where.

Der Rote Turm is a lovely hotel in the center of the baroque town of Solothurn. Everything is in walking distance

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant served very hot and tasty dinner. Room was a little small but I think typical for the area.

from when I walked into the hotel I was made very welcome. The room was really nice with great decoration and furnishings. Only downside is that I sleep with the windows open and the regular clock chiming outside did disturb me. But it wouldn't put me off recommending this hotel.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was very accommodating (spoke English). I plan on staying there my next visit.

Wir konnten unsere Zimmer bereits um die Mittagszeit beziehen. Das haben wir sehr geschätzt und wir unser Gepäck abstellen konnten.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im Hotel Roter Turm. das Frühstück war gut, die Auswahl eher bescheiden. Es gab weder Rühreier noch Spiegeleier und auf der Käseplatte fehlte ein Weichkäse.

In the middle of the city but very quiet. Nice stay
