The hosts were warm and friendly. The place was just lovely with the woman's art on the walls. The breakfast was incredible! And the bed was comfortable. The only thing was that it was noisy. But it is in San Jose. I don't think you can find a quiet place in San Jose.

It was cute and artsy but there isn't much for amenities.

This was a last-minute booking for my final night in Costa Rica, and what an amazing find! It’s a beautiful home just in the edge of the center of Escazú. It’s very walkable into town for dinner and drinks. There is beautiful artwork throughout the home, painted by the host. Despite the language barrier, my host could not have been more welcoming. For a modest price, she prepared an amazing breakfast. Just a few kilometers from the center of San José, it was only about a 20-minute drive into the city. I would definitely consider staying here again next time I’m in Costa Rica.

Just a one-night stay. Very comfortable. Otto is very friendly and helpful. Hope to stay longer next time!

This is an excellent B&B. The hosts are helpful and easy to work with. They clearly enjoy doing this and making the guest experience a good one. They are located in a good part of Escazu. While no places in CR are an "easy" drive, their location is quite convenient. If you are using Taxis etc. then, it really is easy, but we drove a car and had no problems. The room (King) we stayed in was spacious, clean and comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay with them again, if we are back in Escasu. The neighborhood lost power during one of the nights - but that is not in the owner's control, it was restored pretty quickly and power loss seems fairly typical in CR.

The hosts, Barbara and Otto, were delightful and most helpful in arranging sightseeing tours and local transportation. The breakfast was very nice and the accommodations were comfortable and an excellent value for the money. We had a wonderful stay.

I had a wonderful and welcoming stay at Tierra Magica. The hosts are incredibly kind and caring, I felt welcomed and safe. You can order food easily to the house or go by shops and restaurants nearby (all walking distance). The breakfast was magic (fresh squeezed orange juice, and coffee) - highly recommended. I also enjoyed the art, by one of the hosts around the space too. Thank you for a beautiful experience and lovely memory of Costa Rica / Escazu.

A very cozy, generous space that feels like a romantic cottage. I enjoyed the stone bathroom with rain showerhead, hot water, and phenomenal bedding. They really put loving touches in this space with attention to cleanliness, enriching art, and kind gestures toward your comfort and getting to know the town.
