The service was excellent, The owner very pleasant. The beach was 5 minutes away in car. Pool needs cleaning

We had some delays on our check-in due to some issues with our car, so we arrived pretty late. However, we called before hand to let the host know and they were extremely nice and understandable, extremely recommended.

Great place to stay after checking out Cahuita National Park. The couple that owns the property were absolute beauties! It’s a beautiful place, really good bang for your buck.

The owners of this property are amazing - very kind and helpful. The grounds are nice and well kept and breakfast was really good. The room itself is quite small but does have air conditioning and a small fridge. There is also a shared kitchen that is well stocked.

This place was really awesome. It’s one of the best prices in the area and perfectly located close to Cahuita with Punta Uva only a 30 minute drive. The people running the hotel are great and very helpful with information on where to go and what to do, they will also help you book activities if you want. You can purchase breakfast for only 5 or 10 dollars depending on what you chose and it’s made fresh and very delicious. Parking is on the property and there is a gate keeping the car safe from break ins which is especially important in Costa Rica. The sign for the hotel outside is “El Colibrí Rojo” so be aware of that when finding the place.

I love this hotel it is simple and beautiful there is a pool and a hot tub a communal kitchen and a communal eating area. The breakfast made by Mateo was great. We would recommend to everyone we love. A million stars!

We enjoyed our time at Le Colibri in Cahuita. The owners were helpful and communicative. It was obvious they took pride in their business and worked hard to make it an excellent place for people to stay and enjoy. The grounds are exactly what I would wish for in a Costa Rican holiday near the rainforest national park. The pool was awesome, parking safe, room clean, and water hot for the shower. Nothing more was needed - it was perfect for what we needed. Loved the added bonus of the hammock, honor fridge, community kitchen,

It’s a super cute little place and the owners are so friendly and helpful. I didn’t get to enjoy the place much because it was only one night stay because I wanted to go to the beach. But I will certainly come back and stay here longer next time.

We had an amazing experience during our time at the colibrí rouge. The couple that run the place were very kind and helpful about what to do in the area. The vibe was super cool. I will come back and recommend everyone this place if you are looking for a real Costa Rica’s Pura vida!

The place was wonderful ~ clean and very friendly....it is however a short car ride to the beach. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

A little piece of paradise with lush tropical plants and flowers. Reception was most welcoming by Mateo (Mathew) and his wife and most informative about the area as well as different options available for tours etc.

Really good relaxed place with a mixed group of all ages. The owners live right on the property and are extremely nice and friendly. Grounds are very well taken care of. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. Especially useful as the property is right near an entrance to the park which makes an ideal day hike from town (free shuttle in the morning) back to the hotel. Good pool as well!

It's ok if you are looking for something basic as an hostel. Not the right place if you are looking for an hotel or a bit of comfort.room is very basic and general conditions as well.

This is a family run hotel in a beautiful place with the perfect amenities for families or backpackers who want a nicer place to stay then what you find in the area. The couple have made the property a little heaven and they are wonderful hosts. Best part is the ability to walk the entire National Park and be at this hotel by foot.
