The entire unit smelt unpleasant, we had to open all the windows to air out the place. I’m guessing its the A/C fan or filter or perhaps its the carpet holding on to some water causing mold, either way it was not good to be sleeping with that smell lingering. It left my throat irritated so it must have been mold. The breakfast was laughable, it was very small and barely anything was served, a small amount of scrambled eggs and some local cheese and jam. For what we paid it was just not worth it to stay here. I did not even bring any of this up with the owner since I know she will just deny everything and not be helpful.

Loved the location. Lights on and off in bathroom was a pain Soap and shampoo and conditioner bottles were not easy to use. Great folks. Great breakfast. Great location.

What a phenomenal gem 10 minutes out of Penticton, right on the KVR and near all the splendour of Naramata’s finest wine offerings. We had a spacious accommodation with a stunning view of the lake. Breakfasts were outstanding and our hosts also offered their amazing handcrafted items from their garden for sale. Highly recommend this property. We will be back!

A wonderful place to stay. Owners were wonderful and very welcoming. Enjoyed my fresh breakfast every morning. The suite was perfect and the view from the patio was fantastic. The location was great. Nestled in among the wineries and orchards with bike/walking path right there. Can walk to wineries, brewery and distillery right from their home. Only an 8 min drive to downtown, which worked perfect for me. Was in town for a trade show and then could come back and relax. So much better than staying in a hotel. Can't wait to come back and stay again.

We went to a wedding nearby and stayed here for location. What we didn't know was how fabulous the B & B hosts were going to be, as well as the comfort of the rooms! Large space w living room and kitchen, beautiful setting and a homemade breakfast that was better than anything we could have found at a 5 star restaurant! Lovely stay!!!

We have been to Penticton many times but when the kids were younger. Staying on the other side of the lake where all the wineries was such a pleasant experience. The Bed and Breakfast has a beautiful view of the lake and the vineyards. Kristen was a wonderful host and the breakfasts were delicious with many German additions. The jams and the bakery items are made in the kitchen. We highly recommend OK Whistle Stop.

An amazing getaway in Naramata, on a beautiful property with the best hosts! Will definitely be booking again in the future. The BEST breakfast!!!

Good place to stay

The people who run this B&B are wonderful! Very friendly and accommodating. And breakfast is a real treat. Traditional German offerings combined with homemade jams and breads. The room was very spacious, the bed so comfortable and views over the lake make this place so special. It is also within walking distance of a local winery/bistro that has an incredible menu.

Very good host and very attentive to our needs. Suggest providing white towels instead of coloured ones. Breakfast was very basic and limited quality, can be improved

My wife and I loved our stay at the OK Whistlestop... Just a quick two-night stay, but we loved our swim in the pool each morning and of course Kerstin's morning, homemade breakfast complete with cherry juice and served outside on the deck. Very Okanagan... Our suite was the Hamburg suite (some sites call it the Romance suite). The one-bedroom suite... Lots of room to move around with a living room, a kitchen with table and a little fridge. We loved our stay... Though we didn't bring our bikes to ride to wineries along the KVR trail, maybe that's something for next time. Thank you.

Beautiful gardens and a stunning view from the deck that spanned the entire length of the house. Our two bedroom was very clean, and the kitchen was an added bonus. The pool was like new and was super clean - it was perfect for cooling off after a hot ride (the trail is right beside the property?). Lovely hosts and an overall wonderful stay.
