I was pleasantly surprised with the room. Looks like the room was recently updated. Very nice and comfortable room.

Newly refurbished rooms I believe. They were painting the outside. We never had a chance to check out the indoor pool but saw that it was much bigger than most hotel pools. The room was clean. Checking in was painless. Parking was plentiful even though we had to park off to the side as we were in a room upstairs. Comfortable ling sized bed.We stayed 2 nights on our roadtrip. I would go back again.

Whenever we visit Goderich, we always stay at the Cedar Lodge Motel. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the rooms are always clean and the amenities are kept clean as well. We love using the indoor pool and hot tub too! We would recommend this motel to anyone while staying in town.

I was always looking for a place to stay in Goderich after long cycling ride from my town. Very clean and safe and close to grocery.

The front desk staff was very helpful and cooperative. The pool and Jacuzzi were clean and good in condition. In our five day stay, the cleaners were supposed to come every alternate day as per their rule. First time the cleaning was OKish. The bedsheets were changed ,towels were replaced, but still there was a lot of dust on the floor. I don’t know how the mopping was done . Second time ,out of the five days when the cleaning was supposed to be done ,only the garbage was taken out. The floor was not at all cleaned ,no changing of the bedsheets ,no Cleaning of the basin in the washroom or the floor. When I called the front desk about it, the lady told me that they should have done the cleaning properly but no action was taken about it.

Affordable clean comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do.only dislike was indoor pool my preference is outdoor but that's me.

I gave this motel five stars because of the value, friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the room, and amenities.

Everything was good until wake up knock from cleaners at 9.30am. If you wanted to sleep in,good luck! Next time maybe have cleaners come after check out time

Staff handled situations well

Room was clean, washroom seemed to have been updated recently it was very good. Bar fridge with freezer was handy since weather was very hot and humid during my stay and I could keep refreshments and snacks cold while re-freezing ice packs for my cooler. Convenient to Walmart and shopping/restaurants. I thought room may be noisy since it was closest to road and Vette-Fest was going on nearby. Not an issue. A few nice sitting areas to sit and relax, enjoy a beverage or whatever ( one was a few feet from entrance to my room ). Exterior was being painted during my stay. I didn’t use pool (indoor) but it seemed very popular with other guests and their kids. Office hours are a bit limited but staff are friendly and accommodating.
