Do not stay at this hotel.

The air conditioner had a high pitched tone so had to shut it off, talked to one of the cleaning folks who helped open windows as it was cool outside. The shower needs to be fixed as the diverter didn’t work 100% (also shown to staff). My room felt a bit claustrophobic as all the blinds were closed made room feel small (they were closed because no view or into another window I made adjustments where possible). As I was with others I got to see different rooms in the hotel that were much better so not all bad. These next points were known, no lobby, no elevator, no parking (city paid lot). Restaurant attached to hotel was good. Made do but I wouldn’t stay again.

Great spot in downtown Guelph.

This place is AMAZING. Exceptionally clean. Fresh.Has everything you might need. I don’t have enough words to rave about this establishment. If ever in Guelph be sure to stay here & be sure to eat in the restaurant downstairs. Everything was delicious and service was top notch. 10/10

I was expecting a Best Western hotel experience and this is something rather different but with a similar name.

Excellent stay. For the price ($50 cheaper than a regional chain), much better than a regional chain. Has everything you need except for water bottles; bought those across the street at a convenience store. Tons of local food, very walkable. Charming character.

We were so thrilled as soon as we walked in. Modern suite, amenities, cool atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Great spot. Conveniently located downtown.

This is a unique/historic property. Check in is an interesting process where you enter the adjacent dining establishment and get your room key. Street parking is free in front of the property until 9pm then you need to pay for overnight parking at a nearby parkade. There is no elevator at the property so be prepared to haul your luggage up several flights of stairs. The rooms are quite adequate, mine had a fully equipped kitchen, a small work area and comfortable bed. If you don’t mind the quirks of this historic property then it’s a nice place to stay.

Great location

Not a usual hotel! In an old downtown building with very inexpensive parking garage right behind it. Easy check in procedure at the main floor Western Steak and Burger. Many nice restaurants within walking distance. Fully equipped rooms with full kitchen and separate bedroom. Great price and convenience. (No elevator) We have returned again since our first visit and will likely return again if we have business in Guelph.
