Kind staff, hotel goes the extra mile. Amazing breakfast and great facilities. Would recommend as a partial wheelchair user.

Lovely hotel to stay in with or without your dog. A short walk to the beach and to the village of De Koog with shops and restaurants etc. The chef at breakfast was fantastic and was able to cater for our coeliac daughter - a big thank you to him! There was the option to eat breakfast and other meals in the cosy and bright bar / lounge area if you wanted to keep your dog with you, rather than eating in the restaurant. This was great for us because our rescue dog would have been very nervous staying in the hotel room alone, so otherwise we would have had to split our family in half to eat breakfast. It meant we could all be together to enjoy meals which was brilliant! We will definitely return - very nice hotel!

We just stayed in the hotel for a night, but we were very satisfied with the amenities, the room and the breakfast. It's located very close to the centre and next to the bus station.

This hotel is nicely located. Just a bit disappointed that they forget my very important request to put my "chocolate with a happy anniversary note" for our 26th. They did put it when we went out to the beach and come back in the room. This made my husband smile. They are also very dog friendly with a dog cushion and treats already in the room.

Wonderful get away for a relaxing 2 nights. Very comfortable. Covid restrictions, and I gather some renovations kept the inviting bar space off limits, and staffing difficulty made the work-load for the restaurant workers intense for them: I felt bad for them. As an American (few seem to have discovered the wonders of Texel) the “Hampton” theme struck me as both odd and inappropriate. Thankfully it didn’t actually impact the quality of the facility (for better or worse) and thankfully snobiness of the Hamptons didn’t infect the hotel.

The location is very nice and their dog policies are great. Booking a beach cabana is also a great thing to do. The food quality could be improved as well as the cleaning and maintenance of the rooms and public areas.

Great location close to the beach but bed were not comfortable with gap between us. Breakfast was also disappointing. I understand the COVID restrictions but other hotels make more of an effort by providing hot food, a bag of breads does not live up to a 4* hotel.

Very clean, staff was helpful with bus routes, local and in-house amenities. Hotel was quiet and fantastic.

The hotel is in a great location, a short walk from a strip of bars, restaurants and shops. It’s a short walk to the beach and the facilities are excellent.

It was only a short stay but I will come back. Very friendly chap served breakfast with a tie, excellent breakfast too. Big rooms and quiet area. Great pace to stay on the way to Texel Island.

We stayed in a family room which means double bed and bedable couch. Really nice standard of the hotel also the restaurant was above expectations.Staff was very friendly. Only slight negative was the pool area and temperature of the pool which was quite cold. Location of the hotel close to the beach also was excellent.

In general this hotel deserves high marks. We have marked it down for 'hotel staff' because, at check-out, we were given an untimed, distressing message that a family member had been admitted to hospital. After a series of rapid telephone calls we found that no such message had ever been sent. Some mix-up!

Nicely situated hotel close to beach which is a short walk over dunes. Room clean and had nearly everything required. Could do with an updated hairdryer and the grout in bathroom needed a touch more cleaning. Staff very helpful, kind and able to advise. It would have been useful to have the spa info in English too. Close to bus stop and to 'town' centre.
