Great location, clean, easy check in

Great location and very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was a little warm and noisy (facing the main street), other than that a good stay.

Great location with added benefits of a customer kitchen etc

Was worried it was going to be a soulless sardine can, but it was lovely. Rooms are sizable, location is amazing, and amenities were great. Highly recommend.

It’s an ok, basic place. It was very strange that they have no facial tissues, coffee packets, etc. in the rooms. There’s a self service for-pay machine in the lobby for coffee. It’s perhaps a step above a hostel at the prices of a hotel. The check process was strange, it’s all self-serve machine operated where they ask for a reservation code, however, I didn’t receive a code, so I had to make an international phone call to the hotel to help. Luckily they picked up and a staff member was onsite who came out and gave me a confirmation code. They can be a lot better. Again, it is basic and does the job if all you need is a bed and a shower.

Nice and safe location

The location was great, check in was super easy. Our room had the basic amenities and bed was very comfortable. The main lobby had even more things like a dining area, vending machine, cutleries and bathroom which was very useful. A short walk to city center and Bryggen. And very convenient to get to in general.

We had a great stay at Citybox! The room was small but clean and comfortable. It was a quick walk to both the train station and city centre, and check-in and check-out were so quick and easy.

Property did not adequately prepare us for construction happening at the hotel.

Needs more than only one washing machine and one clothes dryer.

Very average stay. Wouldn't recommend for a longer stay as they don't do room service unless it's a week long. Room is pretty stuffy. Shower water gets everywhere. No tv. No fridge. There is a SMALL community fridge in the lobby area. Was completely packed with no room to put anything. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast at the neighboring restaurant is fine as long as the right person is there. Very inconsistent offerings depending on who is actually running it..very odd since it's supposed to be 3 open sandwich options, fruit and yogurt. These rooms are not soundproof! We heard music from we have no idea, constantly heard our neighbors conversations and the people above us. Very loud. Probably wouldn't choose this brand again.

Well run small hotel. Clean, quiet, and lovely.

Good location, functional hotel for the price. Room ok but drainage in bathroom terrible , flooded sink and shower . Done the job for 2 nights where we were busy and not in hotel long . Not a luxury hotel just functional for the cost which was perfect for our needs on this trip .

Fabulous location, blocks from the Bergen train station

This property does not offer amenities such as shampoo, soap, coffee machine or refrigerator in room but we knew that going in so planed for it. There is a pay coffee machine and refrigerator in the lobby area and a restaurant next door for breakfast. It’s walking distance from the bus and train station. We were happy with City Box

You get the basic services that’s why the stY is inexpensive. I don’t mind not having a telly in my room. I love the concept of self check in and check out. I was able to store my luggage before and after my stay. The hotel was clean and I’m glad they’re environmentally friendly

Good hotel, conventionantly located near Bergen station and the city centre. Fairly basic for facilities but was all in good condition and clean.
