Fantastic hotel, really clean, amazing location, staff really welcoming and helpful. Rooms very modern and clean. Highly recommend

Pros: The Hotel has very nice and helpful staff. The ambiance is clean. Good breakfast. Cons: The TV was very difficult to maintain. The night shift lady tried hard and finally found out that a cable was disconnected. The water taps in the bathroom are really hard to open if you have weak hands. I would prefer a shower, although the tub is huge and offers a seat for showers.

Central location and friendly staff. Room and cleanliness are very good but air-conditioning was a little bit weak in the room. The breakfast was very good with excellent variety in terms of cheese, cold cuts, eggs, and coffee; however, the fried eggs were not always hot and fresh. The worst thing in the breakfast is the part related to sweets (no fresh croissants - no fresh cupcakes or cakes/donuts) they only serve supermarket stuff in this regard which are really of very bad quality. The fresh fruits quantity and variety should also be improved.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night while traveling in Europe. The hotel was nice, convenient location, well maintained, and clean throughout. The staff was cordial and helpful answering all of our questions. The room was nicely appointed with an ensuite (bathroom), all clean with the needed appointments. I would replace the mattress on the bed as this was sagging from use and needs replaced. Good place that I would recommend.

Great hotel super nice stafff

We chose a room with a patio, which was gorgeous and very spacious. Meticulously clean. The general decor is fairly dated, but that’s what should be expected from a hotel in Matejko Square- history. They allowed as an early check-in free of charge, which was very appreciated.

I enjoyed the location of the hotel there was lots nearby.

Single room 106 . Curtains were dirty with spots , dust , I had a feeling that it was never cleaned . Pillow smells like dirty legs ( was sleeping without because of that ) . Bad sheets fully of micro bad bugs after one hour all my body was itching . Disinfections required . At 2.00 I was thinking to leave those place … Breakfast : Was cooked two days before , than freezes and heated in the morning , the same for the fruits … Imagine of totally bad management of Royal Hotel . Never again !

NICE HOTEL AT VERY GOOD LOCATION

Curtains have not been washed in years, a chair had a cigarette burn on it and in general it was not very comfortable.

Not a tourist town for walking around..............

Highly recommended for comfort , quiet, good breakfast, free parking, interesting area. A/C a bit noisy, but working well. Planning to stay again.

Very big room. Beds though a bit stiff but the bathroom is huge

The hotel is close enough to walk into the center in a few minutes. Rooms are clean and spacious. My only complaint this time is that there were no curtains only blinds that did nothing to block out the morning sunshine. Breakfast is excellent with good Verity. Staff are excellent. I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice hotel in the old city of Gliwice. Small but very clean with hospitable, kind staff. Very nice restaurant and good food. Low prices.
