Nice people nice hotel. Second time here.

We stay frequently at The Hotel Faber. We always get a good welcome and service.

Heel prettig hotel met heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Our room was quite dark, we didn’t get much daylight from the window and the lighting was dim. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We couldn’t understand why we had a shoe shine kit, small soap and small shampoo but no shower gel? As a couple travelling light we had assumed there would be some supplied. A kettle was in the room with very small cups, suggest taking a couple of mugs with you if you need a nice size drink. Very limited choice and supply of drinks; no English breakfast tea, no decaffeinated coffee available, we appreciate we were in Holland but we thought these facilities would be standard. The only milk was two tiny café crème pots and our supply was not replenished for the second day so we couldn’t have a drink in the room. We had seen pictures of fried eggs and bacon on a website for the hotel but on the first morning there was a very small container with scrambled egg and a small supply of burnt greasy bacon, all of which was stone cold. The next morning we chose continental although I did venture a boiled egg from the container, which was undercooked … There are no lifts and the stairs are narrow and steep so if you suffer with mobility this hotel is not for you. Overall we had a good night’s sleep but did not feel we had value for money at £250 for a two nights stay.

The hotel has great staff and location. With nice restaurant and cafe. The room are comfortable and fresh but doesnt have a fridge.

So glad that my colleague and I chose this hotel to stay at for our 2 week business trip to Groningen. The staff was amazing ... they did my laundry when I asked about a laundromat! The rooms were small but that is to be expected ... they were comfortable as long as the weather cooperated. We had one hot day and there is no AC in the room ... That was the only issue. The hotel has a restaurant within and it was AMAZING! This hotel is highly recommended!

Behulpzaam personeel, fijne kamers en goed ontbijt

Prettig verblijf op een voor mij handige plek. goed ontbijt!

Lidt ændre værelse, god seng, super personale, god restaurant.

Mooie accomodatie ,vriendlijke bediening en vlak bij winkelstraat en goeie pizzaria in de buurt

Rigtig hyggeligt sted. Vi kom til et helt kold værelse og måtte selv tænde for varmen. God service og god oplevelse

Sehr netter und effizienter Empfang, einfach aber zweckmässig ausgestattete Zimmer, nettes Restaurant. Zentrale Lage, dadurch etwas Verkehrslärm.

Fijn hotel om te verblijven. Ziet er allemaal netjes uit en de eigenaar Frank is erg gastvrijheid. Zeker een aanrader!

Het is nooit prettig om tijdens een lockdown in een hotel te verblijven maar ze maken er het beste van hier. De kamer is oké, het eten is goed en het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Unkomlizierter Check-In durch sehr freundlichen Betreiber, Zimmer war sehr sauber, Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Einziges Manko war, dass die Zimmer recht hellhörig sind: Sowohl zum Nachbarzimmer, als auch zur Straße, die am Samstagabend stark von Autoposern frequentiert wurde. Aber alles in allem wirklich zu empfehlen!

Ik weet het, het was heel warm afgelopen week, maar zet dan in ieder geval een ventilator in de kamer. Het was er snikheet en er kon maar 1 raam open. Airco zou het mooist zijn, maar we hadden al heel blij geweest met een ventilator
