Our stay here was great, we loved the views of the horses so near, the privacy of having our own cabin, and we got a surprise visit from a very cute and friendly cat. The host was reachable via phone when we had a question, the self check in was convenient and the kitchenette was useful. Plenty to see in the vicinity - ferry about 20mins away to visit Vestmannaeyjar island.

This was the best stay in our entire trip of Iceland! Alina was an amazing host, very attentive and welcomed us in. She made sure we had all necessities taken care of. They had the option to have a true Viking experience with tasting and option to view all the horses on property. The horses did come right to the edge of the cabins and were able to wake up to them. Very very clean, warm cabin with amenities included. Will 100% be back!

Clean well equipped kitchen with fridge a burner dishwasher coffee maker. Everything you need. Was very comfortable and cozy. The horses come right up to you along the fence. Was the best place we stayed on this trip.

Even though I’d had unfortunate bad weather and arrived late to the hotel, I enjoyed the safe place to finally relax after a long day of driving. Beautiful spot and very clean stay

Beautiful cottage. So peaceful to lookout on the horses. Would definitely stay again. Check-in and check- out very easy. Cottage well equipped with the basics for cooking simple meals.

Lovely and cozy stay. The cabin has everything you need to relax. Enjoyed walking around and seeing the horses and property. There was also a kitty whom was just the sweetest!! A great place to relax and unwind. Please note there are no TV’s in the cabin(GOOD!) and the horses don’t directly come to your door but only 20ft behind an electric fence. If I had but a minor criticism it’s check-in. I felt silly that I walked up to Mr.Iceland’s house but he was out…maybe have a small sign to advise to check the email? (Did that afterwards) I had another guest ask me about check-in while I was walking around the farm. Still, overall highly recommend!

This place is amazing. Everything was great but there are things that i need to nitpick here. 1. It took me an hour to be able to lock the front door. I don't know about the other cabins but the one i was given, Kristall, was giving me that issue. 2. The air conditioner was not working or i was not able to get it to work. 3. The shower was loose at the bottom causing water to spray out. 4. Judging by the name and pictures i assumed there was going to be horses everywhere. There was only 2. So with all of that i am only giving it 4 stars and not lower only because of how it made it us feel. It felt home to us and that's what we are always looking for.

Wonderful stay! It was raining and cold while we were there so we didn't get to interact with the horses too much but the room was lovely and it provided a very comfortable stay.

Spacious and clean cabin. Very modern but cute. Felt safe and loved watching the horses out back. Wish to return someday with better weather. Loved everything about my visit.

The cabin was great. It was definitely a home away from home. We got to pet the horses and were able to see the northern lights on a clear day. The only con I have is that our beds were on the softer side and lumpy but it didn’t factor in my rating. My advice is definitely come before sundown because the roads are dark and road is somewhat rocky. Also, get your snacks and/or food before you come cause it a decent drive to find something and most of the stores close early

Beautiful accommodation away from the busy tourist areas! Recommend to anyone visiting Iceland ☺️ also can’t forget you get the added bonus of meeting some of the most beautiful Icelandic ponies 🐴

Our kids LOVED the horses! Great stay.

Lovely cabin. However bit disappointed there were only two ponies in the field.. did expect a few more given the name of the property..
