My wife and I, both seniors, enjoyed our stay in the Aparthotel Los Pinos. It was easy to find and had everything we needed for our 9 day stay there. The gas stove and oven worked well, and there were enough kitchen supplies to eat breakfasts, lunches and some dinners there. The apartment was clean and everything worked well. The stairs to the second floor where the bedrooms are located are very steep, which could be a problem for some. More problematic was the noise coming from a party venue in an empty lot located a short distance behind the apartment. Thursday through Sunday night, there is a DJ playing music until about 2 am. The music, especially the base, was persistent and loud, even when there was hardly anyone there. The walls are a little thin, so noise coming from the party venue and from other units in the building was a problem. During our stay there, one of the units was being renovated, and there was noise during the day, accompanied by frequent water outages, preventing us from using the shower or any of the sinks at times. The setting is gorgeous, the apartment is spacious and the location a few blocks from the main street of Boquete is excellent. While there was generally someone around to answer questions, you probably need to understand Spanish to make this work well for you. This worked for us, but maybe not for everyone. Despite some of the deficiencies noted above, we enjoyed our time there, and might even stay there again if we were to return.

Emma was a great hostess and we really enjoyed our stay at Los Pinos. She really goes out of her way to make sure your stay is great. She even drove us into town to drop us off for dinner at a restaurant and saved us a cab ride the first night we arrived. Our young daughter loved the place as well, there was a playground on site and wonderful gardens. We would definitely recommend Los Pinos to anyone visiting Boquete for their stay. It is in a great location and a close walk to everything in the downtown area including all the good restaurants and shops. Thank you to everyone including the other staff members who were very friendly and hardworking.

I like the park, kids enjoy it so much. The garden was beautiful too and nice view. I didn't like the stairs going up or going to the room down the first floor, special because I have a grandkid 3 year old. The rest was like being home. Thanks. I will stay with you guys again.

This was a great apartment for our family and the owner is very kind and caring. The kitchen is small but provided everything we needed- fridge, microwave, stove, toaster, coffee maker. The patio off the kitchen was great for enjoying the view- you stay dry even in the rainy season because of the roof overhangs. Same with the windows, you can leave these open in the rain. We didn’t have much luck with hot water in the shower, but I think this is common. The location is great, about a three minute walk to the Central Avenue. From there you can easily catch a taxi to any trails or other area attractions. With a 5 and 7 year old, we recommend Pipeline trail, the bee/butterfly/honey farm, Jardín Encantado, the Cascada Tatica trail, and just walking around town. The gelato place is great and The Rock is a beautiful restaurant for a special occasion (we went for a pair of birthdays). The owner came to check on us when we were at the playground, making sure we were having a pleasant stay and sharing ideas of area activities for the next day. On our last night, there was an earthquake. The owner was very concerned and made sure we were safe and comfortable. The gardens and playground are perfect when the kids still have energy and you don’t!

It is a simple but with the charming warm of a highland cabin. The amenities offered and the equipment included for the use at the kitchen make a outstanding opportunity to prepare meals with local fresh ingredients and off course, a good cup of cofee. The guy on charge, "Otto" treated us with kindness and always was available to help. Definitely Boquete is a place to visit again, no doub to stay at this place.
