The best breakfast buffet I have ever had. The restaurant is very affordable and offers delicious food. The downside is the poor soundproofing in the rooms, which is typical of all the hotels I have stayed in Istanbul before. I did not sleep for two nights because of the very active neighbors next door. The staff is very helpful. Location is perfect and within 5-7 min walk to all keypoints

Staff are amazing my only complaint is there is no gym

The best experience! Stayed 4 days during our Istanbul trip. Cannot say enough great things about our experience. The reception staf (day and evening) are absolute superstars, they are personable, friendly, have the best customer service skills. They are accommodating and give recommendations to activities around town and things to see. They will arrange it for you and book transportation. Rooms were clean and comfortable, cleaning done daily. The hotel is located within walking distance to everything. Breakfast had such a variety of options and always fresh. I can go on, but with my frequent travels, this was a gem, and the staff make this stay unforgettable.

The receptionist, Burhan, did an excellent job helping us decide where to go and how to get to various places during our stay at Carina Hold Hotel. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and helpful. We loved having breakfast at the hotel, as the variety on the menu exceeded our expectations. I will definitely choose Carina Hold Hotel again for future stays.

Staff helpful

Amazing! The hotel is centrally located, easy access to many areas. Tram station right outside. I had a member in my family who was on a wheelchair. As Istanbul is very hilly, this hotel was so well located, that we did not have any issue. I do recommend people who have accessibility needs to stay here. The rooms were amazing, the breakfast buffet was next to none, great quality food. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The room quality was 10/10, and its perfect for families.

The Carina Gold Hotel is FABULOUS!!! First, the staff is warm, friendly and incredibly helpful. Second, the hotel is clean and comfortable. The air conditioning works well and the breakfast is worth the earlier wake up. Finally, the location can’t be beat. There hotel us between two tram stops, one right around the corner. A short walk to Aya Sophia and a convenient walk to the Grand Bazaar (the tram stops will lead you to the Spice Market, Karakoy, or the docks to Asia in less than 15 minutes). I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy their trip to Istanbul.

Great location and friendly, helpful staff

Well organised pick up from Airport with photos and WhatsApp contact. The walking tour they recommended had an excellent guide but we had to spend a boring hour in a leather showroom which was a waste of time. Shams was helpful with organisation. Central location meant visiting sites such as suleyman’s mosque was easy. Don’t forget to do the 500 year old Hammam!!

We went to Istanbul for a family holiday with our 2 not-so young sons. We booked a superior family room - essentially 2 separate bedrroms (each with bathroom) but commected within a unit. Ideal! The rooms were super clean and the bathrooms were even cleaner, with top notch fittings. We loved the hotel, both for its location (walked everywhere!), near all the historic sights and next to a tram stop too; and the amazing staff. They reached out immediately after we booked to offer help. We cannot praise Burhan, Halil, Shams and Mohamed enough - they were so friendly and helped us arrange a tour of Istanbul - we really appreciated their honest advice. They even gave us their Istanbul travel cards we could top up and use during our stay. Definitely recommend that the hotel organise the airport pickup and drop off - we had a top notch luxury limovan pick us up - ideal when you read about the crazy taxi problems there can be in Istanbul. Little else to add except that we will definitely be back at the Carina Gold!!

We had a wonderful experience at Carina Hotel. The service was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the bell door team. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was quite good with a nice variety. The location is also excellent, close to key attractions and easy to get around. Would definitely recommend!

The staff was friendly and helpful. We met the owners even went out of their way to order my husband a treat he really liked.
