Very characterful hotel. Good breakfast & lovely evening meals . Staff friendly. Room had all we needed. Good location too.

Lasaretti is ok, but a bit overpriced for the service offered.

The hotel is in a great location, 5min walking from the center. And beautiful surroundings.

Helpful, booked a taxi for us on a 2am arrival as well as ensuring someone was available to check us in. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was super with a wide variety of food and drink, excellent! Good location to walk into the town centre.

Lasaretti has really nice location and good facilities to relax. Fitness with more than just crosstrainer or bike, fully equipped. Nice sauna.

We we’re on our way back to Helsinki on a driving holiday. We broke our journey and stayed overnight. The hotel was very clean and spacious. The service was friendly and efficient. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was wonderful. Breakfast was great. I went for a walk around the parklands next to the hotel and it was lovely. Great place for a stopover.

The place is lovely

The hotel seems a bit out of the city, but if you enjoy the proximity of nature it is very good, and definitely in walking distance to everything. The hotel staff was very good and always helpful. The rooms were a little aged, also in the sense that there may be electrical outlets at the desk, but not at the bed, except deep under the bed, which was a hassle. The internet really gave me problems, as if they were hiding som man-in-the-middle attack on their router setup, so I was only able to send emails using my company VPN. I was glad I had that and the new EU free roaming charge on my phone. The restaurant meals(lunches especially) were quite old fashioned for a non-Finnish person, but everything was made with personal care, which shone through. The room also seemed a bit cold, and I could not find a way to change temperature. But apart from the internet issues that should be fixed, I shall be happy to return.

This hotel is located a quite short walk (10 mins) from downtown Oulu, by the river, in a nice quiet area. It has been renovated into older buildings that used to be a military hospital. Everything is quite new and clean. Some rooms have a river view, while others into the courtyard. Breakfast buffet is alright, nothing spectacular,what you'd expect at a Finnish hotel.

I would rate this hotel in the top ten of all the hotels that I have ever stayed in. Great reception, great room,everything clean and orderly,and an absolutely fabulous breakfast.

Just a short stay for one night so we didn't get to explore all the options but we were offered by the nice, helpful person at reception, the use of swimming pool and sauna. Breakfast was very nice, quick check in - check out. All in all - very good experience.
