Ideal situation close to the station but easy walking distance to centre of town. Very helpful all round.

Great stop

No WiFi

The reception closes and you need a code to get into the hotel after a certain hour. No one told me this or gave me a code at check in. I had to hang around for another guest to let me in. They are extremely nice, but there seem to be a lot of loose ends that could be tightened up. Then again, at this price you have to expect some hiccups.

Excellent value for money at only €50 per night. Room was clean and comfortable and a generous continental breakfast. Very close to the SNCF station also. I thought it might be noisy but apart from some locals celebrating their rugby team winning a big game was quiet .

Hotel staff were friendly, rooms were clean. No lift though but not a problem

I liked the face it is right across the street from the train station. Next door was our car rental. How could that have been better. Receptionist didn't speak English and my French is not great but it didn't matter, and check in easy

Nice comfortable room, staff very friendly and helpful (despite the minor language barrier) lovely town and nice places to eat.

Hotel La France was an efficiency stop. The price was reasonable but I would not recommend for more than an overnight stop en route.

Stopped off overnight En route from Caen to carcassonne. Have stayed here before and came back as it's a great place to stay. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Service is excellent. Food excellent and value for money. Will be back again

Our room was extremely small with an even smaller en suite "conversion" which had steps and a sliding partition. Completly unsuitable for us over 70's.

If you want an hotel in the city centre with full 5* facilities then this isn't for you! If you want a good value, overnight stop-over (all be it on the outskirts of the city) then this is a very good option. Clean & tidy; Cheap & cheerful - what more would you want from an over-night, stop-over stay?

En transit entre deux trains, hôtel idéalement placé face a la gare.

Simple et efficace. Propreté impeccable. Très bien pour un court séjour.

,Logement près d une gare mais pas de nuisance nocturne,petit déjeuner dans une salle qui nous transporte quelques années en arrière.C était un séjour agréable.

Impossible de dormir avant 2 h00 du matin beaucoup de bruit entre les chasses d’eau des sanitaires les planchers qui grince et les escaliers bruyants Quand à la moquette de la chambre beaucoup de taches douteuses Pas content du tout mais je pense que le « gérant « nous a quand même dédommager avec les petits dej offert merci à lui Je ne reviendrai jamais dans cette hôtel
