The heater didn’t work, it is the end of December with freezing conditions. Not acceptable. The bed is not comfortable, but we could put up with this… with the heater situation no way !

Lovely little hotel!

This is a picturesque hotel in the wine country in Alsace, simple but clean with a very nice staff.

The hotel was impeccably clean and the quality of our accommodation (room, bathroom, separate WC) was very good and well fitted out. The restaurant offered a choice of set menus and a la carte and we noticed that there was a good childrens' menu. Our food was excellent and beautifully presented. Drinks were reasonably priced and there was an extensive wine list. The continental breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly, polite, helpful and very attentive. I plan to stay at this hotel again. It is difficult to find fault with this hotel, my one small complaint is that hot water took a while to emerge ftom the taps, i suspect our room on the second floor might be at the end of the pipe run! The village of St Hippolyte is delightful.

We were lucky enough to park right outside the hotel when we arrived. The reception was extremely friendly. The balcony opened up to a beautiful view! The breakfast was rich enough for the price and the lady serving there was extremely friendly and nice.

Along with our college-age son, we spent two wonderful nights here on a weekend site-seeing trip when he visited us after our recent relocation to Europe. The hotel is ideally situated in the middle of the quaint town of Saint Hippolyte making it an ideal location to start exploring the town on foot or by car to the other nearby beautiful towns; the wonderful Chateau du Haut Konigsbourg is very close by but is definitely a drive-to location as it is on top of the high ridge overlooking the town. We were able to park in the lot of the cathedral across the street but I'd imagine in the peak tourist season parking becomes a challenge. We had two large and comfortable adjoining rooms with their own full bathrooms; our bathroom was particularly large. The bed was very comfortable but we found the pillows to be a bit too small for our liking. We enjoyed a fantastic dinner, breakfast, and snack / nightcap; the food was excellent and service fantastic! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and know that we will be returning either by ourselves or when other visitors want to explore the Alsace wine region.

It's a very nice village and easy to have a walk in the vineyards. Hotel was good with friendly service and reasonably priced. Only small negative is the room was a little dated.

We often stay here when we are in Alsace. Comfortable, friendly and good value. Good food in their restaurant but note the hotel is closed during Wednesday as is the restaurant. We were caught out this time but there is a new restaurant opposite which is excellent. Good competition.

Excellent, family-run hotel in the heart of the Alsace vineyards. Very pleasant rooms, friendly staff, very good restaurant specialising in Alsatian cuisine with good local wines. Decent prices for both food and wine. Parking can be tricky but free. Worth checking if it is a rest day as the restaurant is closed. Alternatives are fine but part of the pleasure of the hotel is dining in. During vine harvest, local grapes are free at reception and delicious.

Sehr freundliches Personal empfängt familiär in einem rustikal-charmanten Hotel mitten im wunderschönen Weinort. Es ist ruhig, bequem und unkompliziert. Das Frühstück hat geschmeckt, die Parkplätze rund um Mairie und Kirche sind reichlich und gleich gegenüber gibt es ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant mit guten Elsässer Weinen. Hier sollte nach Möglichkeit frühzeitig reserviert werden. Wir hatten aber auch so Glück.

Pænt lidt ældre charmerende typisk fransk hotel. Havde bestilt de luxe værelse og fik et stort nyrenoveret værelse med altan. Morgenmad kan købes for EUR 10,- . Ok. Gadeparkering var ikke noget problem.

Petit déjeuner parfait ! chambre spacieuse et propre ! personnel à l'accueil excellent ! Cela fait la 3ème année que nous venons et nous pensons y revenir l'an prochain ! La seule chose qui nous manque le restaurant pour y diner le soir comme il y a quelques années ! Dommage ! Encore merci à Alma !

Joli hôtel Alsacien, dans son jus mais ravissant. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par un personnel adorable et très attentionné. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié, chambres propres et agréables. Nous le recommandons vivement et nous reviendrons

Très bon accueil et serviabilité de la personne de la réception.. Par contre vieil hôtel à la déco défraîchie.. Chambre spartiate, très mauvais couchage.. À rénover d urgence... Très mauvais rapport qualité prix

Chambre très vieillotte … il faut un bon rafraîchissement. pas de restauration possible sur place. Pas de chauffage. Déçu

Accueil sympathique. Hôtel bien placé. Chambre propre mais à rafraîchir. Chauffage trop fort pour pouvoir dormir agréablement. Lors de la réservation, il était indiqué qu’il y avait un parking alors que ce n’est pas le cas, nous avons du tourner un certain temps dans le village pour trouver une place.

L’accueil est très agréable et chaleureux. La chambre est spacieuse et fonctionnelle. Le petit déjeuner est très varié et bien chargé.
