We had a wonderful stay in the cottage at The Castle Hotel in Lincoln. The cottage was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family. It gave us plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring the city, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The location couldn't have been better—being right next to Lincoln Castle and within easy walking distance of the cathedral, shops, and restaurants made it incredibly convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in was simple. One of our favorite parts was how quiet and cozy the cottage felt while still being in the heart of the historic district. We'd happily stay here again and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable base while visiting Lincoln.

Great staff, great breakfast. We stayed during the recent hot weather, unfortunately the hotel did not have air conditioning however the hotel did everything possible by supplying fans to keep the rooms a little cooler. We would definitely stay here again.

A well-maintained building with character, a comfy bed and a good hot shower, and a very good breakfast in the morning. Ideally placed to walk to Lincoln's historic sites without needing to climb the infamous Steep Hill, and with friendly and helpful staff. We'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed in one of the suites and I can say the room was fantastic. Quality furnishings though.out. Parking I. Site although limited Spaces. Breakfast is cooked to order and well worth it. The location was perfect, 2 minutes walk from the cathedral and castle.

The location of the hotel is perfect , literally on the doorstep of Lincoln Cathedral and the castle. Parking is opposite to the hotel - although it is a public car park and a fee charged by meter upto 24hour parking available. The hotel itself is lovely, well presented and very clean. The restaurant area is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I really thought the breakfast was outstanding and very tasty with a large selection on the menu. The staff were lovely and very accommodating . I would highly recommend . Please note however there was no lift and the stairs could cause inconvenience to some guests.

We had a lovely stay at The Castle Hotel but be warned they operate a direct booking policy for using their car park. As we had booked through Expedia we had to pay to use the council car park across the road even though there were spaces in the hotel car park ‘in case’ someone who had booked direct wanted to use the car park.

The location is excellent, staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was excellent!

Wonderful night away in a lovely cottage. We didn’t get the extra bedding that we had paid for, so had to go over to the hotel to sort. We were given the extra bedding, but had to make up the sofa bed ourselves. One of the spare pillows was mouldy.

I had a good stay at the Castle Hotel. Lovely little hotel, super comfy bed and gorgeous bed linen. The room was spotless and generous tea and coffee making facilities. Nice bathroom products. No A/C as it's a beautiful old building, but that was fine as was able to open windows and control the radiator. I didn't have a cooked breakfast but buffet options were fine and the other guests seemed to be enjoying their cooked food. I will stay again, thank you.
