Lovely food and pub atmosphere

I travel a lot with business. The hotel and staff have to be in top five hotels I have stayed in for location, service and value.

Great location and amazing food - very relaxing

Stayed In room 11 - room was clean, beautiful and spacious. The bed was super comfy. breakfast was lovely and very good value for money . Personally didn’t use the restaurant other than for breakfast as it seemed pricey. Not much around the area other than the beautiful walks and scenery. Other activities just a couple of minutes away in the car but if you’re looking for a peaceful stay with plenty of walks it’s a perfect off grid break . There is a canoe hire on site also

100% for everything. Some of the best food I’ve had, great seating over looking the river. Staff were excellent. Can’t highly recommend enough.

Room 12 was really nice, more of a suite than a room with a little outside space for two overlooking the many people and the hand water ferry. Food was good if huge. Breakfast was outstanding, fresh and delicious. Well done. Peter.

Great place and great food, I had the Fillet steak which was the best I have ever had.

Lovely location and very peaceful, Very attentive staff nothing felt too much trouble, Parking could maybe be better and would possibly put us off visiting in the summer months when i would imagine it must be very busy. Room was clean and well presented, Lunch and Breakfast was of a very good standard.

The property is excellent. A lovely size room. Modern, cosy and very clean. I would recommend this property and will definitely be coming back
