Totally delightful stay with my family for my daughters Graduation! The location is a gem, river views and everything within walking distance. The house has everything you need, and having the extra bonus of parking in such a busy city took all the stress away. Faultless communication from start to finish, this was my favourite stay in York so far! Thank you so much ❤️

Great communication before we arrived at the property which was a ground floor apartment. A garage was available to use if we brought a car, but we decided to take the train. The apartment was close to all the local tourist attractions and well within walking distance of the train station approx 20mins. The apartment was very clean and had enough room for 4. One double bed in Master bedroom and a double put up bed. All self catering facilities were provided as well as tea, coffee and a lovely packet of cookies. We will definitely be staying there again when we return to York.

Great place to stay in York. Large apartment on the river with views clean very nice and kitchen has everything you may need. Short walk to the shambles 2 minutes and city centre and every place you want to see easy 15 minute walk to the train station. Fast free WiFi and bus stop just around the corner. 5 star, a must to stay that's for sure.

The property was very clean, it had everything we needed. Detailed instructions for how to get to the location and into the house were provided. Very good communication with the host. It was comfortable and perfect for our family vacation to York. I would recommend this property.

The house is in an excellent location, in the city centre, on the riverbank and yet not very noisy. Looking out of the windows towards the river is a pleasure in itself. It has very good parking right next to the house with a permit arranged by the owners. The house is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with appliances, dishes and cooking utensils etc., The only drawback is that there are quite a few stairs so it might not be suitable for people with mobility issues. We were 3 generations of one family and we spent a very enjoyable week there.

Great location and wonderful owner. Only issue for me was the bed was very hard on my back and hips. Needs more cushioning and better pillows… could just be me though. Other than that, it was a fantastic place to stay.

Excellent location for walking around York seeing the sights. Comfortable bed, lots of space. Very clean. Drains in bathroom very slow. Kitchen well stocked with cooking gear and dishes. Quiet location on the river. Excellent communication with Patrick. Highly recommend for your stay in York.

Great location, easy taxi ride from the train station & we could easily walk to city center. Apartment was homey, spacious & comfortable with everything we needed for a 3 night stay, including a washer/dryer to do our own laundry. Definitely recommend staying here when in York

Like the view River rooms were large and spacious.

We were really happy with the flat. Great location, lots of space, everything we needed and the added bonus of a garage. The communication was great, there was a small problem with the hot water when we checked in and Patrick was there within 10 minutes and sorted it out. There was a bit of noise from above as it sounded like children running about and banging but this was just unfortunate and did not detract from the accommodation. Would definitely stay again.

My family and I loved the stay and the area. The host was quick to respond. You will love this place and York. Book it and you wont regret it. You are so close to everything and right next to the water.

This was such a nice property for our family of 5. The location was excellent and everyone had lots of space. The view was great, especially at sunrise.The hosts communicated well and the property was even better than we expected. We would absolutely stay here again.

Spacious, comfortable apartment overlooking the river with a garage for parking. Excellent location within walking distance of top sites and restaurants. Super hosts. Cannot fault and would highly recommend.

Great stay. Home fully stocked with everything you could need. Patrick communicated well and had all ready. Great location right on the river and steps fro river cruise and bars/restaurants/Shambles. Highly recommend.

What a lovely place. And Patrick the host was impeccable. They went above and beyond to deal with my chemical sensitivities, switching out to fragrance free soap & cleaners for me, and opening the windows and completely airing the apartment before arrival. They sent a great e-mail that explained in detail how to get to the property & how to access it. Worked flawlessly. The location was fabulous, we easily walked everywhere. Patrick even answered my questions about where to find a specific gift I was looking for. I will say that there are a few things that I should mention however. It is an end unit, with the one bedroom on the ground floor. The entire apartment is in a line (bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom), with the bedroom in the front (with the bay window), and there is a small sidewalk & boat dock just outside. So at night we had to close the curtains.There is a small hallway that leads from the living area to the bedroom that is 2-steps down, then 2 steps back up (lowered to avoid hitting your head on the stair to the upstairs apartment??). With the curtains closed it was dark & doing those steps at night to get to the opposite end of the apartment to go to the bathroom was a bit dicey. Fortunately I brought a small battery tealight and placed it on a step so I could see at night. Also, a small written sheet to explain basics, like garbage/recyling requirements, location of hair dryer (desk in bedroom) & outlet adapter (kitchen cupboard) would be helpful.
