Everything was lovely, except the 1980s shower! This was the only thing letting this place down, the water was down to a trickle.

Great old hotel with lots of Welsh old charm. Loved all of the wood beams, crooked stairs; walls, etc. Nice bar and restaurant on main floor. Helpful staff.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Nantwich. No faults, though I did find the bed mattress too soft for my liking.

Wonderful 16th century hotel. Needless to say it was a bit wonky everywhere but full of character and busy in a ge bar and restaurant. Staff great, facilities understandably in need of an upgrade

Beautiful Tudor building, pleasant room, noisy in the morning as ancient beautiful leaded windows faced street.

A wonderful 'old world' welcoming place to stay in the centre of town. Everything on your door step.

Fantastic place to stay!

Always a great stay at the Crown, this was my 5th stay in the last year, staff are brilliant! Extremely friendly and professional,Food and ambiance is great, very reasonable price as well. The smallest of negatives would be as a heavier person the mattress is a little uncomfortable, but apart from that I would only ever stay at the Crown.

Grade 1 listed hotel from 1585 so knew to expect uneven floors.etc.lovley atmosphere very friendly helpful staff. Stayed 1 night b&b . Just disappointed in the room. For the cost would hsve expected s bit more personality in the room . Very basic tea coffee but a biscuit would have been nice may be some tissues. Just little perks as have received in other cheaper hotels thatcwould have made a basic room a special room.

Attentive staff - food at event OK, but nothing special - rooms quaint & as functional as you can make them in a Grade 1 listed building.

Our room absolutely stunk, we needed to stay the first night but didn’t stay for the second night. We we offered a room that looked like staff quarters, but they were just as grim, there were also 2 Christmas parties near the alternative room. So sadly would not recommend it.

The room had a terrible smell for the 2 days we were they, so much so we left before staying the second night.

Another great stay at the Crown, staff are brilliant, food is brilliant, location is brilliant!

This was an annual visit to this hotel for a local function and as always I found it to my high standard with good facilities and excellent staff.

We love staying at the Crown, we always have a lovely time as does George our Frenchie. We look forward to our next visit

Booked in for 1 night for return leg of a long distance journey, as ever the site, service and food was outstanding!

This place is quirky as! There is not a right angle in the place. It is straight out of a Harry Potter film. Not very good if you are wobbly but full of character
