The property was the perfect distance between the airport and USC. The shuttle was not running to or from the airport but Hampton called us taxis both times for us and covered it. Taxis arrived on time. Staff was friendly. Breakfast has lots of options for a small hot continental breakfast. The room was great for what we needed it for.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Pool was nice also. Would stay here again.

Very clean property. Comfy beds and very nice staff

The 1st of the 2 major issues was the fact that, due to construction, patrons were unable to walk inside the hotel to go between their rooms and the front of the hotel (i.e., ride share drop-offs, the lobby, the breakfast area, etc.). I literally had to leave the lobby through the front door then go around to the back of the building just to access the elevator. (My room was on the 4th floor!) For those prices, I wanted an 'indoor' hotel experience. The 2nd of the 2 major issues was the fact that 1 of the elevators went out half-way through my stay. (*sigh*) Other issues were that 1/2 of the cable channels were inaccessible and housekeeping didn't service the room the entire time I was there. With all of those inconveniences, it would have been appropriate for the management to apologize and issue some sort of discount --- which didn't happen.

The air was not working properly and wouldn’t cool our room off. The lotions and shampoos were empty in the bottles and room needed some standard maintenance.

Average hotel. Nothing special. Pool was dirty. Bugs floating on the top and dirt on the bottom. Room was small. Hotel seemed a little old and outdated.

Very convenient to highway to Charleston.

Positive: 1) Hot water right away 2) helpful staff; front desk good communication. Laron was an excellent communicator! 3) very good breakfast 4) comfortable beds 5) Room lighting was excellent. Negative... 1) room with double beds. Didn't leave much room to walk around 2) Floors were dirty and needed to be mopped. 3) Our room wasn't cleaned the day we did not put out the Do Not Disturb sign. We were out most of the day so there was time for housekeeping to clean it. I ended up going to the laundry room and getting more towels.

Perfect place for whatever kind of stay you are looking for and convenient to everywhere !

It was clean and full for the night and even under construction you knew it was a place people trusted. Still very clean and in good shape to be a guest.

It is looking a little worn around the edges. The room was much smaller than any other Hampton Inn I’ve stayed. The iron didn’t work at all. The front staff when I checked in was friendly. The location was fine.

Very nice staff and great breakfast

Comfortable bed, but room was very small. Housekeeping were allowing doors to slam closed as they were cleaning the rooms. This caused our door to rattle everytime, so not able to sleep in. Clean property and convenient location!

This overall experience with Hampton Inn was a step or two down from my stays a few years ago.
