A nice, simple, clean and convenient stay for the night while my son visited Clarkson University.

This was my third time staying here within the past year. Each time I have found the rooms to be simple but very clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition. The breakfast is light and limited but adequate. The owners are friendly. Many of the rooms are on the smaller side but it's ideal because I am usually solo and doing work while I'm in town. I would recommend the Scottish Inn as a clean, affordable, and well-maintained facility. I expect to be staying there again soon.

Very friendly, very neat and clean all over the area. close to everything. planning on going back in June

Very clean and good value

Staff was very pleasant during check in. Room was warm upon entering. This was appreciated as the outside temperature was 10 degrees. Pillows were hard but bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very basic. Good overall value for the money. I would stay there again.

Small, outdated room. Good for a one night stay. We left and didn’t stay our second night.

Owners were kind and accommodating to me

The guy that checked us in was very quick and friendly. The room was basic, but very clean with a nice layout and roomy enough. The property is only a few minutes to the west of Potsdam where there are several dining and entertainment options. It's a very good option when staying in the area.

The rooms could use some updating. Our shower head needed to be replaced and it just could use a refresher. At least in our room. Also, walls are thin, every night could hear neighbors long after going to bed. The owner was kind and helpful.

Loved how close it was to the University. Simple rooms but super clean and beds were great!

Room was clean. Bathroom was clean. Bed was too soft. Check in and check out were quick and easy. Room was a good value.

It’s very convenient place to stay

First it was affordable, and very clean, and safe. Great location for whatvwe were there for. Beds were fantastic, had free wifi for the kiddos. The staff was wonderful, very polite and helpful. The only thing indisliked was . I almost got hit by another vehicle as i was coming into the parking lot, because both of the ways in are labled as entrance, instead of one entrance and one exit.

Its peaceful and convenient. Your not to far from local shops and both colleges.

Room walls are paper thin. Neighbor turned on TV at 5:30am and sounded like the tv was in my room.

Très bonne expérience, personnel attentionné et courtois, chambre et salle de bain propres, seul bémol, pas de cafetière dans les chambres. J'apprécie de ne pas avoir d'escalier et de stationner ma voiture face à la porte de ma chambre.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Scottish Inn for our Christmas holiday. The rooms were very nice and clean. The attendant of the Inn was very friendly. The location was perfect. Walmart was just a block or two away as well as gas stations, little cafes, etc. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our holiday. I highly recommend the Scottish Inn if you're ever in Potsdam and need a place to stay.
