Great Hotel! Keep in mind that there's a part of the hotel that is on the back. It's not connected to the lobby and you need to go around the building. That's where our rooms were located. For my group, it was great because we didn't have to go up the small uneven wooden stairs. Don't get me wrong, the wooden stairs are amazing, but not elderly friendly. Since we got the rooms on the back, it worked out perfect for my group. Also, Memo contacted me with Nacho, our tourist guide. Amazing service. Definitely coming back and recommending this hotel.

Guillermo was a wonderful host, very glad to answer questions (His English is very good.). In excellent central location. Note - hot water and heat may be intermittent. (31 last night.) great affordable, authentic place!!!!!!

Close to train station. Walkable. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Easy to find tours of local area

Attention was great. It is a small cozy place, clean and with a a great look and feel. Very close to the train tracks and downtown creel. Hoping to return soon.

Needs coffee pot at the rooms. It is a great place stay

No food service in the hotel not even coffee. You could walk out from your room to a balcony but the balcony had no railing, very dangerous

I really enjoyed this stay, the property is what I expected. Small & quiet property, short walk to restaurants. We stayed on cold nights but the room had a nice heater and kept us warm. The Owner was very polite and helpful. My cell phone did not work in that area and he was kind and allowed me to use his phone.

A very unique property which is wonderfully decorated and has made use of nooks and crannies. Lots of thought given to the comfort of the guest. And very close to all the action for shopping and dining in a very small town.

Very pleasant and close to the station for the El Chepe train. Staff very pleasant.

The property shuts off the heat at midnight. You will freeze your ass off. No hot water in the am. No breakfast. No Internet and the TV doesnt work

Wonderful hotel. Central location. Classic Mexican room which is what we look for when coming to Mexico. It was also quiet and comfortable. True classic architecture worth staying at.

It seems that they were not able to keep my reservation due to apparently a water problem on the room. Theh were nice to accomodate me on an "associated hotel". But for what I sensed is that it is difficult to keep bookings due to high demand and not so much options. So be prepared for the unexpected.

Habitación pequeña pero muy bonita y acogedora. Frente a la estación del tren y a una cuadra de la calle principal, restaurantes.. personal amable, agua caliente y wifi.. todo excelente!
