I had a really good stay at Motel One Newcastle. Booking and check-in were simple and the team on reception were friendly and professional. My room was easy to find, very clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and a well laid out bathroom. I liked that I could decide about breakfast later. When I did have it, it was a straightforward continental spread but with plenty of choice – breads, meats, cheese, yogurt, fruit, even soft-boiled eggs. The location was great, just a short walk from Monument Metro, and there are good places to eat nearby – I found a nice spot at Cote. The hotel itself was fairly busy with a mix of tourists and business travellers, but it always felt comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. For the price, it felt like really good value and I’d happily stay again – probably my first choice when I’m next in Newcastle.

A decent enough hotel in very central location

2 night stay. Comfortable room and good bathroom facilities. Plenty hanging space but no drawers. This didnt affect us for a short stay. Bar prices on the hign side but plenty other options close by. Didn't have breakfast so cant comment.

The room was ridiculously hot. The air conditioning was non existent. For 160.00 for one night, I’d have expected a room that was big enough for two people to move around. The breakfast was very nice, however.

Good location, quiet, with a comfortable bed. We did have an issue with a cold shower one night, but it was resolved the next day.

Very clean and comfortable room, excellent bathroon with good shower. Really liked the interior design and general feel of the hotel and we were able to leave our bags all day while my granddaughter visited the university that was close by. Also very reasonable price for two rooms.
