We were excited to have a room with a view but we got put in the Satelite rooms and had a view of a construction site.

Front of house staff were always welcoming and friendly. Room was well equipped and spacious. Roof top bar had what must be the best views of Edinburgh. Fantastic design. Sadly had an issue with housekeeping which I felt when raised was not adequately taken on board. Let the experience of staying at the hotel down.

Amazing

The staff was exceptionally nice. The room was amazingly large and elegant.

What a great place to stay. Close to Edinburgh Castle, museums and shopping.

This is the best hotel in Edinburgh cant wait to return and the staff are all amazing. The breakfast is out of the world !. We really enjoyed the shopping around St James area and the restaurants are all great. The room was absolutely amazing we had a fantastic balcony and everything was new and fresh.

Loved the W Edingburg. Staff was exceptional. Well done on the renovations. Room felt comfortable and stylish. Sushi restaurant was also amazing.

Excellent hotel with top notch facilities including a well equipped gym and a great terrace with 360 views, great cocktails and cafe del mar style soundtrack. Great restaurants.

The W is fabulous in every way! The staff are friendly, helpful and professional and the room was amazing. We had a superior room with balcony and it was fabulous, very funky with the bar and two bar stools! The lounge was very comfortable and the view from the top deck was truly amazing. We will definitely return

The only down side is lack of pool and steam / sauna room for guest use without paying extra otherwise good location.

From the second you walk into the hotel the staff are incredibly accommodating and welcoming. Nothing was an issue for anyone and check in/out was seamless. The hotel oozes class with the rooms all modern and the on site facilities are fantastic. There is a selection of different cuisines on offer from the hotel restaurants and the roof top is not to be missed. We can’t wait to come back and fully experience the away spa and will definitely stay for more than one night.

We booked two twin rooms for our family trip to Edinburgh (2 adults + 2 teenagers). We loved the location of the hotel - seemed close to everything we wanted to do. We liked that it was new and fun - in no way stuffy!

I felt like a movie star during my ten day stay! I absolutely LOVED that we were able to enter a 3 story mall, had at least 12-15 eating options within a minute or 2 walking distance. The staff, top to bottom was PERFECTION!! I will always stay here when I visit Edinburgh! It was the ICON of the city. Thank you for helping us celebrate our birthday with such beautiful letter and star treatment!

Beautiful new building, fabulous facilities, very restful and enjoyable stay. Scottish breakfast a bit dry and tasteless, but otherwise everything tip top.

Great new hotel for city centre

Absolutely amazing hotel & service. Staff could not be more helpful. Beautiful rooms, comfiest bed i have ever slept in. Could not fault this hotel

All that you could expect from a fairly new luxury hotel in the heart of Edinburgh. Courteous and attentive staff, excellent room with balcony, well stocked bathroom amenities, and a delicious room service menu - highly recommend the club sandwich and the haggis bites. Breakfast was a final highlight before checkout. Will definitely stay again.
