I had a very disappointing experience at Wyndham Ion Majestic Hotel, Genting Highlands. I booked a 2-night stay and had specifically requested a higher-level room in advance, as I was really looking forward to enjoying a nice view during my stay. Unfortunately, I was assigned a room on Level 20, which did not meet my expectations at all. To make matters worse, I approached the front desk to request a room change, but my request was denied without much consideration. This was very frustrating, especially since I was staying for two nights and had hoped for a more pleasant and comfortable experience. It’s disappointing when special requests are not acknowledged, and even more so when there’s no flexibility to accommodate guests after raising the issue. Overall, I left feeling quite dissatisfied with my stay. I hope the hotel can improve its service and be more attentive to guest requests in the future.

"Everything was perfect. The location's best in Genting Highland, the view from the balcony was like living in the clouds, the air was cool, making the vacation enjoyable. The room was clean and tidy, the staff were good and very helpful. One thing that wasn't so great was breakfast - the staff weren't very helpful and seemed unprofessional. The food itself, like the chicken porridge, had beans that tasted a bit off, and the nasi lemak ran out and wasn't refilled. There was even a guest who got mad because they'd paid for breakfast, waited 20 minutes for nasi lemak, and it never came. If the hotel could improve the breakfast service, it would make our stay here even more perfect."

Actually, it was enjoyable because it gave us a nice view, but access to food was difficult, there was no sign, had to feel it yourself and ask the staff to be informed. The worst thing was transportation, it was an extra cost every time we wanted to go out. It was terrible, going up cost RM9/person *4= RM36, getting off cost RM30, going back to the bus station cost RM80. Just imagine, we stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights, the cost for transportation was more than the cost of food... Suggestion: there should be a free shuttle at least 5 times a day, BOSS... It's better to just stay upstairs if this is the case. Where is the room service, if they clean the room, they only change the sheets, but the toilet is not cleaned, so the smell of urine we stayed there, if the toilet door is not closed the smell spreads throughout the room, can't sleep.
