Aesthetically, an absolutely beautiful hotel. The dark colours and the stuff in the room are lovely...coffee maker, glasswear, clothes steamer. But...it's a little style over substance. Shower rooms are tiny and theoretically, perfectly formed, but water leaks massively under the shower door which is too low down to have a shower mat next to it, resulting in a flooded bathroom, and sometimes bedroom. There is a 1cm gap from the toilet saloon style doors to the bedroom, leading to no privacy whilst using the bathroom. The doors to the bathroom and the shower are pretty but are too narrow leading to mulitple trapped fingers. The kettle plug is too chunky to be plugged in where the kettle is located so need to move it to the only other plug hole i could fine near the bed, but the flex is too short to have it on the floor so needed to balance it on a small ledge next to the bed. The reception staff were polite at best but were too cool for school. A lack of any warmth and friendliness...polite but just going through the rehearsed motions. Had breakfast once and next table offered extras as part of the breakfast buffet included, that we weren't offered. This wasn't a slight on ourselves...there was a difference in what each staff member was offering from what we heard from adjacent tables, so just a lack of consistency. Overall...ok but have had better for less and despite the positives of the location and aesthetics, i wouldn't stay again.

Great stay and although a small room (typically London) it had great amenities

Lovely property with air conditioning that worked properly. The staff were helpful and polite. The only problem I had was the poorly designed shower with doors that open out hence a flooded floor

We had a lovely comfortable stay at Hyde London City.

Amazing stay! the room was so nicely decorated and had all the comforts. Loved the view of St Pauls out of our window. The reception staff and manager were just awesome. So welcoming and helpful...they really made our stay all the more fun.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Will visit again.

Hotel was ok. I had high expectations, but the room was disappointing and the breakfast was ok. For the price I would have expected more.

In general it was ok. Price performance was good. Location was good. The room was small but there was mirrors facing bathroom and toilet. So someone lying on the bed can easily see your actions. It wasn’t that much comfortable

Great staff… good ambience late afternoon. Wine not so good.. Food gd. Really liked the room and the bathroom and the view onto the local historical church.

Shower doesn’t drain water fast enough so water gets everywhere into the room and pools around the entrance area (somehow this is the lowest point in the room!). Housekeeping took way too long to make up room, as I left the room before 10am and the room was still not made up by 3pm. When asked the maid’s excuse was that they had to prioritize leaving guests. But what about guests who are still staying?! This is terrible and unacceptable.

Great quality hotel in good location. Very comfortable. Rooms are typically on the smaller size but perfect for business travel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyde London City Center, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The prime location of the hotel makes it incredibly convenient for exploring London, with easy access to key transport links and attractions. The rooms were well-designed, cozy, and offered a luxurious feel with stylish fixtures and fittings, making for a very comfortable stay. While some may find the room sizes a bit snug, the cleanliness and attention to detail more than compensate for this. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the outstanding service from the staff. Every member of the team was welcoming, respectful, and attentive. A special mention goes to Heman, the Front Office Manager, who went above and beyond to resolve a complicated issue with my booking. He had to follow up and jump through hoops a multiple times. His patience, determination, and relentless follow-up over several days were nothing short of remarkable. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to ensuring a guest’s satisfaction, and I will undoubtedly return to this hotel because of his exceptional service. I have already shared this personal experience with several of my business colleagues. Whether you’re in London for a short stay or an extended visit, this hotel delivers an experience that will leave you wanting to return. A big thank you to the entire team and special thanks to Heman!

A short stay due to a cancelled flight. Arrived quite late at night around 10pm. Despite the late hour, the Canadian lady (sorry I didn’t catch your name) behind the desk was very welcoming, charming, and helpful. Room was well appointed and had nice fixtures and fittings. P.S. if this does get passed on to the lady at reception, your good feeling was right - this flight made it.
