I stayed at Hotel Cendana in 2022 and found it to be very satisfactory. My last visit was very disappointing as the bathroom had a very bad smell, dust and dirt were falling from cobwebs from the ventilation, and the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Bed linen also had stains, the doona barely fitted the bed, and pillows were so firm that we continually slipped off them. While we appreciated that breakfast was included, it was very basic and limited compared to my previous visit. It is unlikely that we'll stay at Hotel Cendana on our next visit to Palu, but I would compliment the staff for being so friendly and accommodating.
