This was my third stay at True Blue within the year, this time from 10–17 July. Unfortunately, I had to self-isolate due to influenza while continuing to work remotely to meet important deadlines. Once again, True Blue felt like the right choice because of its central location, easy access to transportation, comfortable atmosphere, and the wide variety of food and beverages available.
During this stay, however, the hotel was in the process of upgrading its Wi-Fi system. The transition took place over several days, mostly during daytime working hours, which made it quite challenging for guests like me who relied on a stable internet connection for work. Fortunately, the receptionist on duty—Mbak Maifa (or Maila, if I remember correctly)—handled the situation with great professionalism. She patiently explained the circumstances and sincerely apologized for the inconvenience, which I truly appreciated.
Despite the unexpected connectivity issues, the hospitality of the True Blue team remained exceptional. The housekeeping staff were thoughtful and attentive, ensuring my room was always comfortable and regularly replenishing coffee and drinking water. Small gestures like these made a significant difference, especially while recovering from illness away from home.
Returning back to True Blue in the past months, I continue to enjoy the overall experience and would gladly return. My only recommendation is to maintain strong Wi-Fi service, particularly its stability and reliability for guests who work remotely. As more travelers combine work and travel, dependable internet has become just as essential as a comfortable room.
Thank you to the entire True Blue team for your kindness and care during an otherwise difficult week. Your warm hospitality made my stay much more pleasant. Bravo, True Blue!!!
