I got room no. 101 which when I entered there was a sewer smell and I tried to close the toilet with the haxsos on. When I came home at night and turned on the AC, there was still a smell, the later it got the more the AC air smelled, after I checked it turned out that the AC water drain hose was connected to the bathroom toilet pipe which led to the lower sewer, wow this is very dangerous because sewer steam enters the room through the AC, the smelly steam is very dangerous for health. When I slept I even wore a mask, the next day I told the officer, the officer was kind and gave me a solution to move to the Swing branch on Penang Road and Chulia 75, but I refused because I had also lived there and rated it less. Swing Beach I used to live in was comfortable and good, the shower water was strong. Now it is very poorly maintained. It's true that this is a budget hostel but the smelly room is not my choice, this requires management to fix the AC waste water so that the room doesn't smell like a sewer, finally on the night of the 14th I checked out of the hostel and moved to another hotel (even though I still had 2 nights) and I was willing to do it rather than being uncomfortable and having my health disturbed (short of breath), for the staff I contacted via WA were very friendly and helpful, I have to write this review so that the management can improve the hostel, hopefully it can get better 👍
