Very great place for family

The customer service was horrible and the ladies upfront were so rude and not helpful at all and the billing department service was so rude and hung up on me and then I got charged 194.00 extra and I don’t know for what after paying 469.00 for the room already

Everything was amazing the only thing I can complain about is that the food was pretty pricey but I would definitely come back

Absolutely loved our stay at Okana! Spotlessly clean, fantastic rooms, and the new indoor water park was a blast. Our Easter break was great thanks to this gem. Beat the crowds and visit Okana Resort before summer peak season!

I would say be ready to spend some money, definitely need an all inclusive package. It is very kid friendly! Over all a great experience. We will be back for sure! Love the wrist band ideas!

Got to check in and wasn’t about to use the room a paid for because they wanted another 200 was the worst experience

Nice walk up check in very easy to use. There was a small inconvenience with the pricing CSR was very understandable as to the problem and solved it quickly. Like the wristband idea for the room keys and entry to water park

Was a little shocked of all the extra charges parking food and drink were above average high.

One of the water life guards on the kids area was rude to us and our waitress at the tacos and tequila restaurant was terrible

This place is very new and appropriate for children. The room was spacious with a balcony and view of the outside pool. There was always fresh towels available which we appreciated. We only tried one dining option at Chido’s, the food was good minus the host staff being quite frazzled. We went to the indoor water park one day and the park was okay. The children seemed to be enjoying their time but the smell of chlorine was nauseating. Susan at the front desk was unwelcoming and rude from the beginning at check in, not to mention she made a huge mistake in charging me when she should’ve charged Expedia. Every interaction with Susan was unpleasant, a simple task like asking for towels seemed like a burden. In addition the hotel itself does not have water bottle refill stations, nor vending machines, nor ice machines, leaving guests no choice but to use tap water from the bathroom sink. Additionally the rooms would benefit from having a microwave to reheat food as needed since there was a mini fridge. Another night when searching for water, we entered the gym to find several children playing on the equipment without any supervision. Lastly one night the fire alarm went off several times at approximately 3AM. It was very disorienting and scary to be woken up in the middle of the night to alarms going off with no explanation.

My family and I had a great time at OKANA! We loved that you could arrive early, get your wristbands, and enjoy the waterpark before check-in. It was nice to swim, take a break, and then head back later. The snack bar was convenient but pricey—as expected at a resort. We waited almost an hour for a pizza, which was a bit much. If you plan to grab drinks, the all-day drink pass is worth it since you have to scan your cup, and it tracks how much you get. The food at the Jackrabbit Restaurant was a highlight—delicious and affordable. Our server, Mia, was amazing! She was so helpful and kind, and really made our experience memorable. We’d go back just for her service! The waterpark had a different layout than we’re used to. The wave pool was smaller and only went up to 5 feet. A lot of the pools aren’t connected, so you have to walk between areas. The water was also colder than expected, which we saw mentioned in other reviews too. One thing to note—overnight parking was $30. For a resort stay, it would’ve been nice if parking was included in the room rate. Overall, we had a great time. A few minor inconveniences, but the friendly staff and great dining made up for it. We’re looking forward to coming back!
