Great location

Hotel was a great choice for a quick stop on a longer trip.

Cozy spot in southern Bavaria

Restaurant staff were rude. They messed up my reservation for a massage and still tried to charge me. They didn’t seem to care and didn’t apologize. Hotel was clean. Room was nice.

The restaurant next door made this location and stay. Absolutely fabulous food and hospitality!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Mittenwald. Beautiful lobby, beautiful room with beautiful mountain view. Absolutely incredible breakfast. So what's the problem? Hard, uncomfortable bed with uncomfortable, rough bottom sheet. Terrible pillows -flat & mishapen. Only 2 pillows for 2 people. No pillows in closet. One sink in bathroom. Poorly lit bathroom - a problem for contact lens wearers or applying makeup. The whole point of a hotel should be to offer guests a comfortable place to sleep. This one failed for me.

Room was quite small and overall a bit overpriced for the level of quality and amenities. The balcony was nice with great views but don't walk on it without shoes- I got 2 splinters in the first minute walking on it in bare feet. Needs sanding and refinishing! The ladies at the front desk were excellent and very helpful with our needs.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our one night stay in October. The staff was friendly, location perfect in the middle of town, parking was easy, breakfast was delicious and our room was comfortable and modern.

Beautiful traditional Bavarian property, in the centre of pretty Mittenwald. Stunning views from every aspect. Staff all super friendly and genuinely care about your experience. Perfect hotel !! Thank you

Huge room

Such a cute and cozy apartment with a modern bathroom. The staff is very friendly and the main area of the hotel is very big and cozy. The parking on site is very convenient. The hotel is right in the middle of Mittenwald.

Wonderful location in this amazing town. Breakfast was great and the service was friendly. Very “old German” look which was great. The reason you get a hotel is to sleep though and these were the most uncomfortable beds and pillows I’ve ever slept on. If they upgrade beds, it’s a winner. If not, nothing matters if you can’t get a good nights sleep.

I was most excited about this hotel while staying in Germany but was so so disappointed. The hotel is in the middle of everything which is great during the day but poor at night. The noise was so bad until about midnight due to bars or restaurants staying open late and all the streets echo. Definitely ask for a room NOT in the front of the hotel. Aside from the noise, the larger issue was the condition of the room itself. It was beyond filthy from YEARS of use. Stains on the walls, floors, couch, etc. and the bathroom smelled as if someone had just used it to poop. It smelled like that the entire time we were there. The bathroom was also badly outdated but worked for what it is supposed to. Overall, I would never recommend staying here ESPECIALLY for the high rates they charge. I would recommend getting a hotel slightly outside of Mittenwald and driving into town for a day. Town is precious but this hotel was a huge let down unless you like not being able to walk around barefoot in your room.

It is a beautiful hotel, very authentic and situated in the middle of the action. Restaurants & bars are all around it and shops for gifts and souvenirs could be found on the same street. It is a beautiful town, very charming and romantic. We love it and we will surely revisit in the future ❤️
