Unique haunted house, we watched a tv special about property and wanted to experience its haunted history. The stay was fun , saw no ghost, but room was pleasant with it own bath was nice. Cost for room was better than other hotels for about same age and bed size. its a no frills room. Just a bed and bath.enjoyable stay.

Oliver house hotel is a classic themed hotel of the mid 1900s . Wood floors c creaking staircase , great deck view. Yes beds are very comfortable! We loved our stay in this “haunted” hotel. Originality & decor a huge plus.

Unique old building is put to good use by new family owners. The Speakeasy lounge has windows that open to fragrant trees and vines for morning coffee and in the evening a friendly server proved to be a great conversationalist.

Wish I had known that it was on the haunted tour itinerary sooner.

I booked this room and actually made a terrible mistake. I didn’t realize how old it was or lack of amenities with this property. For instance there is no AC so the room was very stuffy. I couldn’t even imagine staying here in the summer. There is no refrigerator in the room so I had sports drinks which were warm and leftover food which I had to throw away. We tried to leave the windows open but there was no breeze it was awful. The place is very old so you hear ever moment of other guests, even hear cell phones from other room. The bathroom is barely adequate, the parking for this property is essentially partially down a street. If you’re looking for an old creepy hotel perhaps you might like this place. However if you had a long day filled with activities and looking for a comfortable place to rest this place isn’t it. Again I place a lot of blame on myself for not researching enough of this place. The caretaker who did check us in was very nice so nothing to say bad about the service. Again not the experience I was seeking.

Cute, quirky , dog friendly hotel! The staff and hotel dog were very nice. A little loud at night because of the close quarters, but the. Again. It is an adult only hotel so… Would definitely stay again.

The property is a little of a challenge to get to, but once you know how to, it isn't a problem. It was a very nice, old bording house. The room was very bright with two windows and a comfortable bed. The continental breakfast can be improved, but since all I had was coffee, it was good. Overall, it was a nice place, also quiet and not busy since there are only + or - 10 rooms.

The only negative point for this quaint historic small hotel has to do with drapes and light coming from the corridor - the bedroom is not at all dark and darkness is the number one thing to achieve a good sleep ! So black out curtains are a necessity

It was a cool old house and located conveniently to shopping. It was a little difficult to find, but if I had read the text they sent telling how to find it, which I didn't see until later, we would have been fine.

Wonderful period property! A little challenging to get to but nice atmosphere once you are there. The hosts are very accommodating. As mentioned, the building is historic so guests need to be aware of this, especially regarding being respectful to others by not being too noisy (the guests on either side of our room talked till late at night in their rooms as though no one else was sharing the space with them). Still, a charming and pleasant stay.

Private restroom was a little cramped. Wish fresh fruit would have been available. Great view from the upper deck.

We were somewhat desperate to find a place to stay, since my husband really wanted to be in Bisbee for the Prowl. This was the only place available, but we were glad we gave it a shot! I was dubious about having a “shared” bathroom, but it was kept tidy and clean, and we ended up loving the rustic, old-timey feel of it! We were able to walk wherever we needed to go (because parking is a mess there, especially on weekends with events). The wood floors were super cool and my husband enjoyed the bar that was conveniently just downstairs!

The house is in a great location, easily accessible to the main shopping/eating drag. Yes, a few hills but it's good for you and doable! The first and second floor porches offered really nice views of the town and mine. Art throughout fun and engaging. Don't miss the onsite speakeasy when open..super fun! Best of all, owners/operators were fantastic and personable. Beds comfy!

This is a fantastic historic boarding house set in a cliff in an old mining town. So you really are staying for the ambiance. The stairs are very creakily noisy, so if you’re an early riser you might worry about waking other guests. We had trouble sleeping with the (beautiful, old) glass valance over our door letting in a lot of light from the hallway. We did eventually figure out we could dim the hallway light which helped some. Check in is very friendly. Breakfast was out of yogurt although they said they had it. So overall very charming place with a few minor quirks.
