Great property and location, very close to 19 tram and 21 bus. Couldn't fault room, an oven or microwave oven would have been nice. Check in was a problem as something didn't click with the vander app, but 20 minutes and a phone call later it was sorted

Great location, nice room,

There’s no Iron or Ironing board in the apartment. There was a bench outside my room (beside reception) right beside the bed where people would congregate and keep me awake or wake me up. Just give me a normal key, all the app based stuff is annoying. Also was never sure if my apartment door was actually locked once I was in there.

Great spacious studio in a lovely location. Only hiccup was getting the digital key sorted as I booked last minute but it worked well once they had added my phone number - might be a problem with data feeding from Hotels.com to Vander ? The hotel has lots of character in the reception for photos etc. My studio was more modern decor but had a kitchen ( hob plus utensils, crockery, pots ) a niche dishwasher and tiny fridge plus table and chairs and a couch, not to mention two wardrobes. I would stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Please note there is no reception or bag drop on site. You have to go across town if you need luggage storage or anything like that. We arrived early and phoned the number and they were really helpful. Our room was gorgeous, bed was really comfy, kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom is separated by a glass wall which is a trend I’m really not a fan of but it wasn’t as bad as some I’ve seen. The shower did also leak into the main room (just a design flaw of the wet room and glass wall) so we had to put a towel down but it wasn’t too bad. Lots of storage and seating which was a nice bonus. The building itself is a beautiful old building which has been converted nicely. Great location with good food and coffee nearby, good transport links and walkable to most things. Would stay again!

Great apartment in a very wealthy area of Oslo. It felt like home!

Very happy with the 1bedroom apartment i got. Two balconies and very spacious. A lot for the price!

Nice high ceilings. Nice location. Solid old place huge windows drapes.. Bed inferior. Stiff neck royale. We ended up sleeping on floor. Old Phillips TV, cheap channels, cheaper muffled sound. Check in took two maids, 3 visits. Computer glitch. We saw others having same problem. 2 fire alarms in one night, standing outside in pajamas,permanent residents say this happens 2 times a week. I'm guessing inferior cooking fans and unwillingness to fix, or at least put better places impotent cooking message warnings.

Very nice apartment to stay in with kitchen and everything needed to cook. Good location as well very close to the bus stop and tram, but there will be no checking in early.

There is nobody to help your check-in upon your arrival. I found some guests having problems of getting in the main entrance. I suggest that more clear instructions should be given. Other than this, I am 100% satisfied with my stay in terms of the location, access to public transport, room space, cleanliness and comfort

Lovely and peaceful stay!

The rooms are on the luxury side, but a bit old fashioned for my taste. They could do with some modernising of the furnishings and decoration.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. The bed was a bit soft but comfortable also. The kitchenette was reasonably well furnished with pots and dishware. There was no coffeemaker of any kind. Not even a French press. And although there are two large Nespresso machines in the lobby that one can use (at a cost per beverage) neither machine was functioning for the entire two weeks I stayed. Also, apart from cleaning staff there is zero staff on the grounds ever. So if issues do arise the response time can be somewhat long. Overall, a fine and comfortable place to stay with a few small but annoying shortcomings.

Very average but good location. Very poor instructions for checkin, use of amenities and parking. Room was garden level and too cold. Heat is not adjustable. A bit of a disappointment!

Pros: walkable distance to everything (unless you’re mobility restricted), right around the corner from the Royal Palace, heated floors in the bathroom, comfortable bed/bedding. Cons: very thin walls, no daily housekeeping, no reception staff on site, and very limited parking.

The apartment was perfect it had a place as you entered where you could hang coats and hats. The rooms are very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was perfect. Stove, oven, dishwasher, and small fridge. Big wi does and high ceilings. Nice coffee shop on the corner. It is a 10 min walk through the park around the king's castle to Karl Johnn the main walking street and Oslo city center. I highly recommend The Sweet! 👍👍

Apartment itself was good but check-in procedure was ridiculous. Was informed would be staffed check-in but was by means of an app which didn’t work so took 2 hours to gain access. Could not control heating and room was also uncomfortably hot.

The hotel is charming and recently renovated. My room had a functioning kitchen and nice seating area. But the room was noisy, not from outside but from different air vents and plumbing. I was not able to log in to the app and it was not clear where the machine for registering was placed.
